I need help. I just bought the Nikon D3100 with the basic lens. I want to get a telephoto lens,what should I look for? We go to WDW a few times a year and we like to cruise on Disney Ships. I would like a lens that will take great pictures in the ships theater among other things. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

GREAT perspective Dave!

I'm stepping out of my box in all sorts of ways these days:

1)Taking pics of more then my kids. (I'm definitely a people shooter though.)
2)Not playing it safe w/my shots. (sun flare is in camera and purposeful)
3)Stepping out of the clean processing box and having some fun with processing. (and not resetting after, lol)
