Photo Sharing - Nikon Part 2

I really like this! Can you tell me what your settings were? :confused3

Thanks. Truth be told, this is my DD image she shot at age 10 in Big Sur. She calls it "Sisters". She is a young oil painter and photographer who has had some fortune in photo contests within her age group as well as adult competitions. She is a joy to shoot with.

The technical details. Nikon D40 with 55-200mm kit lens. Shot at 165mm at ISO 200 with f8 1/1250. She will tell you she took a fair bit of time to compose.

Raw adjustment is camera raw with sharpening and contrast added in Photoshop. A separate layer for the flowers and background were created to flatten the background colors and make the flowers pop in color and detail,

I will tell her you liked it. She gets a thrill with that type of feedback.

It's been awhile since I've posted. Work has been crazy, but I did manage to get away for a weeks vacation with the DW to...well I'll let the pic give you a hint.

You win a nice big "CORRECT!" But seeing you are from Northern California, maybe you should be disqualified for insider knowledge. :)
