A cabin for hikers .5miles under Mt Chocurua in the background. There used to be a 3 story hotel on this spot. It got blown down in a 1915 storm.

What at first looked like a search and rescue- we think maybe they were practicing maneuvers. They were attempting to land on the peak. We had just been up there and were the only ones there.

Nice shots Susan, I've pass by here so many times and have friends who live close enough to see the MT from there yard but never climb it.
Didn't see anything on News 9 last night so they were probably just practicing.
