The XSi is my first dSLR and I got it about four weeks before our big trip to Washington state (Olympic National Park, Seattle, Mount St. Helens, Mt. Rainier) last August and overall, I think I did well. Practice! Practice! Practice!

Actually I am going to Disney, but I live at the Grand Canyon. I can't wait to get the camera. Hopefully it will be in the mail tomorrow. I'd love to start practicing. It is supposed to snow tomorrow.
