I had to go all the way to California to see someone pet a squirrel. Who does that?

Funny...we encountered these squirrels on our way from Anaheim to San Diego...they were running along the rocks at one of the rest stops. We had fun feeding them and...yes, petting them. I wasn't sure they were squirrels since they don't have the bushy tails that we're used to up here.
