Is it worth it?

Does anyone know if you buy the CD....then are you free to print the pictures wherever you want?

Is it true that as long as your camera is on a strap that you can ask a cast member to use your camera to take photos?

We are trying to see if the photo pass is worth it, my sister in law & I both have awesome cameras and we are obsessed with pictures lol. Between the 2 of us we will get plenty of photos but we want to be in them too.

Any insight is appreciated...thank you!

Many people do not get the photo pass but we love it. They will take pics with your camera but we have found many additional angles and pics that they took with theirs. Our first trip we stayed at WL and they had a photographer around the pool that day. Great shots! You can also add them to the CD if you get them at various places like character meals. Some are an additional fee but they were great to have or buy the additional option. Our DS had a cute bunch taken at AK too. The CD gives you the rights to do what you want. We have a canvas photo collage that we had made with a groupon using a lot of our WDW pics.

I agree we go every year and pre purchase the CD. Pluse you can add your own photos and add borders and years around your pictures. Pluse the whole family can be in all the photos. We usually have about 1000 photes with all different boarders

We are getting the photoplass+ I believe. It includes your on-ride photos, character meal photos, etc.

If you pre-purchase about 2-3 weeks in advance you can get it for like $149, which is only $20 more than the photopass CD.

This will be our first trip. Even though I have my own camera, I am not sure I want to lug the thing around EVERYWHERE we go. I will take it with us sometimes, but not all the time. Plus it is an added item someone could take while you are on a ride.
