I have purchased the PP+ because it seemed like a good idea and would save money but now that I have it, I am wondering -

What does it really include?
All rides that have ride photos?
All character meals?
Photo Op spots around the parks?
Character pics in the parks?

I have read some posts where people have said they had hundreds of photos on the PP+ at the end of their trip, so I am just trying to figure out where these photos come from - I want to make sure we make the most of this since we paid so much for it..

Thanks!

I have so far gotten regular photopass, not plus because I haven’t needed it. We’ll probably get the + version for our next trip.

Generally on my CD I have

3-6 family pictures in front of each park's main landmark. (Castle, Space ball, Tree of Life, Sorcerer Mickey’s hat)
A lot of random around the park pictures
3-8 pictures from each character meet and greet in the parks
10-15 pictures taken during my daughter’s Bibbiti Bobbiti Boutique makeover
30 Bibbiti Bobbiti Boutique post makeover photo session pictures

Depending on how long a person's trip is and how creative they get with the meet and greets, how they seek out photographers and then how they use the borders and edits and how many character meets they do, it is a significant number of pictures. I’ve heard of some people having pictures in the 4 digit range, even to the point of needing a 2nd CD. I’ve never gotten close to that, but there are just 3 of us. Our 2012 trip was 9 nights and I had 400 pictures. I would likely have had more were it not for several days of ran from Tropical Storm Debbie.

I have had a look at the prices of some of the packages they sell from the photo session after BBB, so just having those photos alone on there I’m making out well. One package was more than I paid for the CD.

With plus you get ride photos from the rides that take them like splash mountain, space mountain, Buzz Light-year, Tower of Terror, Rockin Roller Coaster, etc. And there’s no limit from what I understand. You can get the picture loaded no matter how many times you ride.

The character meal photos are only the photos where there is a photo taken prior to the meal. It does not include photos taken when the characters come to your table. You take those with your own camera. It would likely be too chaotic if the PP photographers were there too. As to the pre-meal photos, the restaurants that have those off the top of my head those are Cinderella’s Royal Table, Akershus, Ohana breakfast, Chef Mickey’s, Tusker House, 1900 Park Fare (not sure if it is all meals) and there may be others. Those are yours for no extra charge if you have photopass +.

CRT and Akershus include the photo in the price of the meal already, but just the prints. Someone will correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe with photopass +, you also get a digital copy in addition to the prints. At Chef Mickey’s, Tusker House, 1900 Park Fare and the Ohana Breakfast (and there may be others) the prints are $30 extra and no digital copy is offered.

I have Chef Mickey’s and Tusker House reserved for our next trip so that is why I’ll likely go with the plus version for this trip. The only ride we use that takes photos is Buzz Light-year.

Thanks! That is great info! We have Chef Mickey, Tusker House, CRT, and 1900 Park scheduled for this trip, plus BBB so I am guessing that right there I have made back the money I spent on the PP+ :)
I am glad I got it!
