Photo Pass & Photo Pass+

We had photopass+ last August and I really liked getting all the attraction photos on my CD. A question for anyone that has done this recently: have they improved the method for adding the ride photos to your card? I ended up waiting in a lot of photo lines while people looked over every photo as they purchased a package. This happened frequently at RRNC and Everest. Do they have a photopass+ only line or anything yet?

Hi read thru all previous post but didn't see the answer to my question:
Am I correct to assume that we can get multiple ride photos of the same ride? For example we are going with our 2 sons, one is only 18 months old - the other 7, his dad and I will probably ride swap letting him ride with each of us so we would have 2 pics per ride, can we add as many ride photos as we like??

Thanks!

You can add as many ride photos as you want.

We were just there last month. We had the photopass+ and loved it! But to answer your question, I think individual pictures of attractions were $15.95 each. You could also get the attractions+ pass which is $44.95, but for us the photopass+ was well worth the $169.95.

Hi! Can someone explain what the "attractions pass" is?

Do I have to enter the park to exchange the Photopass+ voucher for the card and larnyard? Thinking of doing character meal on our arrival day which will be a non park day.

We are staying at BLT so I'm wondering if I can go to MK and exchange the voucher. I'm not sure if the Photopass center is outside the park entrance or not.

Also, is there any place nearby I can exchange it without going to DTD and entering a park?

The PhotoPass centers are in the parks as well as these locations:

Team Mickey at Downtown Disney

M. Mouse Mercantile at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

Trader Jack's at Disney's Polynesian Resort

Zawadi at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge

Beach Club Marketplace at Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resort

I've been searching for this answer, and I cannot seem to find it - so I apologize in advanced...

I understand that the character meal pictures are added to the CD with the Plus package. During the dinner, they would usually come around and hand you the package with three or four pictures in it and expect you to fork over the $32-ish dollars for the package. Now that I have the Plus - they will put the pictures on my CD - but will they still give me a printed out package as well?(I know it sounds silly, but I love getting those pictures during the meal. Call me crazy.)

From my research, I was told yes, we will get the prints.

Yes you do, as per our experience in January. We purchased photopass+ and used it at places such as Chef Mickey. They attached it to our photopass+ card and then gave us one printed out package. Please note that if they come with two or more printed packages to your table (say one of just the kids, and another of the whole family) they will scan both packages to your card, but you will only get to choose one printed out package to take with you

Just read through this thread...great info here!! I preordered the photo pass plus...about how long will it be before I receive my photo pass "stuff"? Will it come with my Mickey mail since I added it to my resort/ticket package purchase?

Hello all,:goodvibes
I am not sure if this is where to ask this but here goes.
How do you know where the camera is on a particular ride? Most of the time I am just paying attention to the ride and sights and sounds. I have already bought the photopass+ I just hope i don't looks totally foolish:eek: in the photos..TIA

My dh ALWAYS knows, I wish I knew how. Even if I see the camera on a coaster as we are going through the line, I can't tell WHEN in the coaster I'm at that part, ya know?

Hi... After reading about the Photopass Plus options, I feel it is a good idea. We typically eat at Chef Mickey's for some meal for the kids. This fall we have reservations at Akershus in Norway. Since we have to hold that reservation with a credit card I see the photos are already included (just like Cinderella's Royal Table). By having the PhotoPass Plus card am I essentially paying for the photos twice? Thank you, in advance, for insight.

Photopass Plus does not include prints. It basically allows you to have a digital copy of your photos at Akerhus. Without it, you just have prints which you can scan at home to have a digital copy but the quality/resolution won't be the same.

We got the original Photopass before and loved it especially the magic shots that the CM took so the plus is even better value for us.

When eating at a restaurant that is part of PP+ it's easy! Just have them scan your PP+ card and the photos taken will be added to the card then your pictures package will be delivered to your table while you eat. At places where the photos are already included still have them scan the card to add the digitals to your card but you don't get an extra print package.

Thank you navywife... I am still confused. Akershus' dinner price comes with the photos. So, by using the PhotoPass Plus card at this restaurant, I have paid for photos through the PhotoPass Plus AND paid for them as a dinner reservation? The bonus is I get the photos on the card? After dinner (without the card) I have them anyway. What's the bonus of having the PP+ for dinners such as these? I'm sorry I just can't wrap my head around this situation.:confused3:confused3

No, the Plus does give you the print package from character meals that have photo pass photos before seating.

What the op is running into is that akershus and CRT already include the print packages. So she has to decide if Plus is worth it in other ways.

If your only character meal is akershus then Plus gives you nothin useful for character meals.

The other things Plus gives you are the stock photo cd and the digital ride photos. Will you be doing ride with photos? Will you want those digital images? If so, there is value in that for you. If you are an avid scrapbooker and like generic pictures of the empty parks or empty parks with characters in poses then that has value.

If you only reason for Plus is the character meal picture AND your only character meal is akershus or CRT, then Plus has no value for you.
