Photo Pass & Photo Pass+

Ok I had regular photopass last year, with photopass+ after I get my cd with my pictures, can I upload a picture on Facebook to share with my family or do I have to purchase a download for that like I did with photopass? I ask because I have family that doesn't live nearby to show the cd to and I typically share through Facebook.

Why did you have to buy a download? Can't you upload pictures to Facebook directly from the CD? Or copy them from the CD to your computer then upload to Facebook from your computer?

Sorry I didn't type that right, I had regular photopass last year and didn't order a cd. I just had two pics I loved on there and couldn't copy it without purchasing them and they sent me a downloadable file so I could save them on my computer. So my question is if I order the cd will I be able to download those pictures to my computer and/or share on Facebook? It was only my first trip to WDW last year & I did absolutely no research beforehand except to know to book CRT in advance :-)

Yes. Once you have the CD, you can do whatever you like with the pics.

Thanks! I will definitely be purchasing photopass+ this year! Especially with our character meals and my girls are the perfect age for the attraction photos.

Just read through this thread. I never thought my dh would consider buying PP+ but he is... LOL. Anyway we still have one question that I think has been answered but you know how sometimes you need it phrased your way...

With Photopass CD you get a CD of all of your pics

With Photopass plus you get a CD of all of your pics which then includes dining and ride pics.

Do I have that right? Our confusion is that on the disney site under PP+ it doesn't specifically say that you get a CD so that's what we're trying to make sure that a CD is included in both preorders.

You do get the cd with photopass+. You also get a bonus cd of Disney stock photos

I have a question too and I am hoping you can help!

I want to order photopass+ for our trip in October. Is it OK to order it now - will anything expire? It says photo's expire after 30 days - I am guessing that's 30 days from when the picture is taken?

I know this may seem a silly question but I want to make sure I do it all right!

:confused3

I ordered mine way in advance last year. I got the stock cd and a voucher in the mail. Just make sure you keep track of that voucher and take it with you! The photos expire 30 days after they were taken.

Greetings! I just ordered PhotoPass+ in anticipation of our late September trip. My package came last week and there is nothing that is going to expire prior to our arrival. The CD that came with the package has about 400 stock photos but not every single shot you may be looking for. It had a lot of fireworks and several animals from AK. It also had some, not all, of the resorts. However I do think it is absolutely worth it - especially the $50 savings for pre-ordering.

The voucher that came with it, to be exchanged at a PhotoPass "shop" once we get there, has no expiration printed on it. It does have a bar code to scan once I present it. This is voucher that you don't want to forget or lose since this will get you the PP+ lanyard.

Also, the stock CD case has a separate voucher/code key in it which allows you to order your CD with the PP+ pictures once you return. This is where the expiration comes in since you only have so long to view, modify, and select your CD pictures.

Thank you! I will do!

Hello,

I did the Photo pass option on our last visit and loved it. Would highly recommend to anyone. I'm considering doing the Plus this year.

What I don't know, without the package, what do the pictures cost on the attractions? I can't remember, but was thinking $12 - $15 for each picture, but just can't remember and haven't found them posted.

Thanks in advance,

We were just there last month. We had the photopass+ and loved it! But to answer your question, I think individual pictures of attractions were $15.95 each. You could also get the attractions+ pass which is $44.95, but for us the photopass+ was well worth the $169.95.

Hi Ckania,

Just curious if you had any "magic shots" taken and if so, which characters? Thanks so much!

Thanks in advance,

The cheapest individual option for ride photos is $14.95 for a digital download (last time we were there). The price difference between the pp cd and pp+ is $30. That is the cost of either 2 ride photos or 1 meal photo package. (You also can get the photo package at PL which is also around $15).

Does anyone know if I can share the photo pass plus with my sister? I read it comes with a card? Can you add as many cards as you want? My teens carry a card with them and may want to add some pictures to the CD?

You only get one PhotoPass + card, which is what allows you to add ride and dining photos to your account. You can add as many regular PhotoPass cards as you want.

Hi! I've read this question somewhere, but can't find it -
I'm planning on doing the Wild Africa Trek in AK. I swear I read that using the photopass from that would allow me to not have to buy the seperate photopass cd. Is that true? I don't want to risk it, and would like to buy in advance opposed to after the trip.
Thanks!!

Some googling found this:

So unfortunately, the answer is no, it's not true. You would have to pre-purchase the PhotoPass CD in order to get the rest of your PhotoPass pictures.
