I have searched the photopass threads and haven't found the answer to my question. We are buying the photopass for our vacation but can't figure out what the $19.95 archival CD version is used for. My understanding is that we will be able to "tweek" our photos and then when we are done get a CD sent to us for the shipping cost and all of the photos will be on the CD (please correct me if I am wrong) so what does this deluxe CD get us?

If this is on the wrong board, I apologize. TIA

I hadn't heard of it so I just looked it up. It looks like you can upload your own pictures, do all the same editting and duplicating on those that you can with the photopass pictures and have those added to your photopass CD for $19.95. This was never available in the past. I'll have to get that. I've always wanted to be able to get my own pictures stored on the CD and with the editing options as well. Oh boy, they're going to end up having to send me 4 or 5 discs by the time I'm done. LOL

It is a CD of pictures from your own camera that you have uploaded. you can edit them and add borders to them and then buy the CD.

Thanks. I guess I thought you could add your pictures to the photo pass CD anyway. I must have misunderstood.

Doesn't PhotoPass have a limit of 160 upload pics to your account? This would be cool if you want the borders. I still wish the site was faster and more managable. At least this year I haven't had any crashes!

PhotoPass does not have a limit of the number of pictures you can upload, just the amount you can upload at one time. I had over 800 that I uploaded altogether to be available to use for my photo book.

I did not archive my own photos. I felt the boarders offered for personal pictures were not special and not worth $19.99 when I can store them on my own disc for just penneys.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. Goes to show how much you miss when you only skim and you are in a hurry to get you photopass stuff done:)
