Yesterday I spotted a family of wild turkeys - Mom and turkeylings (what are the babies called? chicks? OK, "poults", I googled it) but they disappeared by the time I got my camera with tele lens, lol. So I am still on the hunt for those.

I also spotted something in my yard the other day which I've never seen before, brown and adorable, looking right at me. I called DH to say I think we had a beaver in the yard and he was like "it's probably a woodchuck". (Hey, growing up in the city I never learned these things, what can I say?)... If I had known that we might have had a woodchuck category ... Cute little bugger, I'm going to see if I can get him anyway (and maybe file under the "What is it? cateogory. Ha!)...

Remember to bring your cameras out with you this weekend!!

Pooh your pictures brought back memories of when I was young and we all swung on a rope into the Scoharie Creek in Prattsville NY where we would stay with friends who had a cabin there. Sadly that town was literally wiped out by Hurricane (Technically Tropical Storm) Irene.

Today, I went to another one of those events in Melbourne.....Something this city is known for....Major events or Festivals. There might be a few more festivals to come over the next 3 months.

Today's Festival was for Mind, Body and Spirit. Guess what I found there?

Navajo. Okay....he's Apache. But I'm going to claim it anyway.

There were quite a few things on offer at the festival. Who would have thought that reaching enlightenment would cost money???? I'm not complaining. I did get a couple of items on this hunt.

The festival or fair food was not great. So I'll wait until I get some food porn worthy to share. However....this might qualify for another item.
