I lurk here all the time but never really feel like my shots are good enough to post yet. Another DISer and I (that are friends IRL) started a 365 Challenge and are blogging 1 pic a day for a year. I just thought I would put our blog out here in case any of you are interested in coming over and giving us advise. I really love many of your shots and hope that I can eventually take the kind of shots you do! We're both hoping to grow and learn by doing this and it would be great if any of you could give your critiques of our shots!

Since we're doing a year of photos, we'll be posting WDW shots in September when we both visit the World too!

This is the last place you should feel too intimidated to post your pictures. Everybody here is great; and are always willing to offer a kind word of advice.

And nice idea for a blog too. Even better that you have a close friend to share in your love of photography. You can both learn and grow together. But trust me, everyone else is learning all the time too.

Sometimes I just look at everyone's photos and wonder how on earth you got them! LOL. Or if I could just get shots like Figment, I would be happy, I have so many of his shots saved as backgrounds for my computer, it's not funny! Sometimes I think I need a better camera (I have a D40) and other times I think that it's the photographer and I need to work harder and I will get the shots I want.

It's frustrating, sometimes I can SEE the shot I want in my mind, but I can't get it in the camera. I totally understand the learning curve now, I feel like the more I shoot, the better I get and the more it makes sense...so the challenge is perfect, it forces me to pick up the camera every single day and use it!
