Photo Assignment: April/May '07: Spring

I certainly wont forget that one!!!

As for the camera choice,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, lesson learned. Though I do like a few of the ones I got with the S30. Especially the ones of the field with the sun setting colored sky in the background.

Well, after 36 years of Bluebonnets heralding the start of spring, this was our last one. We're moving to Colorado in another month, so I got out in the yard to snap a few for memory's sake.

Well it's killing me I sent my camera off to Nikon servive the day this started. Here are a few that are a few weeks old. I will post some taken during the assignment if I get it back in time.

These are all right out of the camera- no significant cropping or processing. All taken with Nikon D70s & 105/2.8vr Lens.

Here are a few of my favorites, I used my 28-135mm IS for all of these. Custom Whitebalance using this disc thing that I can't remember what it's called that my friend had with him. When I shoot, I tend to forget things like, oh, checking my settings. I still have lots, LOTS to learn

Ha- It is probably thankful it's getting to rest- I have used it constantly since I got it, I love that lens.

i'm in a "i hate everything i take " mood but i thought this bird was kind of cute although not particularly spring like ,,,,basically just like all my winter birds but it has a few green leaves and i wasn't freezing my tail off taking the photo i liked the food in his bill and on his face, the little pig

Here's another I took this morning. Augmented the natural light with a off camera strobe up from the bottom of the flower; 1/4 power with a snoot.
