Morning Cupcakes! Tammie, I always forget that the NON-running shoes are the ones that give me injuries half the time. I can't give up my flip-flops though...although I might have to if fall continues. Maybe when the first snow hits.
I didn't run much at the beginning of the week because I was out of town, but I finished strong and got some miles in at the end of the week. Yesterday morning was so gorgeous, I hadn't planned on a longish run, but kept going to 5 miles b/c I felt so strong! Then I decided it was a good idea to go on a walk with my daughter and the dogs and put in close to another 2 miles. I'm a bit sore today and dealing with some sort of pulled muscle in my back as well (doesn't seem to affect my running luckily).
Megg, I hope it's nothing serious and you heal up quickly!
Happy Fall and happy running to everyone this week!
