Petunia question

Hello, I was going to grow some petunias in a hanging basket. A friend of the family always plants these and they trail from the basket and hang down. Is there a certain varity that I need to do this or will any common varity due? I have planted these before but only for bedding plants. Any help would be appreciated---sp

Any will do, but you might want to look at the Wave varieties. They will probably do the best.

There is a variety called trailing petunias and they have smaller blooms than the normal ones. You can also use the regular ones and there is also a double petunia variety that is really pretty in hanging baskets as well.
