Great thread! Here are my babies, Barney (10), Fred (9), George (8), and Stanley (almost 1)! They're all miniature dachshunds.

We have 2 dogs and 1 cat

Riley-stray beagle/terrier mix 4 yrs old

Max-Golden Retriever 4 yrs old

Charlie-stray 10 months old

Mike (k5jmh) and I have 3 cats and 2 dogs. The kitties are all 3 rescue Persians and have Disney names.... Daisy, Belle, and Russi.

We went in to adopt Belle and Mike found Daisy in the kitty adoption room while I was completing the paperwork for Belle.

Russi was the subject of great drama in our house in January. I found her on PetFinder and by the time I called she had been turned over to a rescue group and a 3 hour driver to get her and endless $$$$ later she's our baby girl too!

The dogs are both Shih Tsu's and are Oscar and Murphy.

We have Russi who is very photogenic.

Daisy - if we touch it, she will sleep on it.

Daisy is sleeping in a bed built by Ian for her out of his blocks.

Belle is reclusive and after stalking her with the camera for 2 hours and using a telephoto lens, I was able to take a picture of the Cat that we should have named Figment.

Murphy and Oscar (with Ernie) L to R Ernie is Oscar's brother (same parents different litter). He lives in a different home now, but is the sweetest Shih Tsu and is Freaky Huge! He was like a miniature Sheep Dog.

What a cute family. Barney looks like a dachshund we used to have. Our neighbor has 2 dachshunds. They started with 1 but he barked a lot and was on the aggressive side. So they got another one hoping she'd settle him down. Instead he's taught her to bark at everything and everything.

....we're due to get our new puppy around Memorial Day. He's a red standard long haired daschund. We're having trouble with names.....DH likes Oscar (but I think of the "grouch" instead of the hot dog brand) and I like Indy (from Indiana Jones III....."The dog's name was Indiana!).

We have a 4 year old lab mix named Eddie, a 3 year old Pekingese dog named Homer who definitely does not live up to his breed as a lap dog (he'd rather play fetch till he dropped than just lie around in your lap), and a a Himalayan cat named Gretel who is around 10 or 11 years old.

Eddie and Homer are best friends (although one is about 100 lbs and the other about 15) and can't stand to be separated. Gretel, however, could stand to lose the dogs.

I am loving this thread!!! We Have cats and birds at our house... Roxie is solid black with sleek short hair, her brother Klaus is 16 1/2 pounds of pure muscle with long black hair, white paws and throat. they are just 10 months old. Pepe is our parrot and Nikki is the canary that never shuts up.

I would post photos, but I don't have a clue how to.

We live in an apartment so we just have the one dog, she is a Scottish Terrier and is the queen of the house! I should say she has us for a family, you don't really own a scottie, they own you!

This is our Baby Girl, my mother-in-law found her at her apt complex back in the summer of 2005. She is just the sweetest thing. I was not a cat person before her, but she sure changed my mind!!!!

Denise, I used to have a kitty that looked just like yours when I was a teenager. Her name was Jasmine (not Disney related) and we called her Jazzy.

I don't know how to post pictures either but if I did I would post pictures of my 2 year old littermate cats, Princess & Tinkerbell, Izzadore - a 16 pound tiger cat and Josie my chocolate labrador reciever. We call her reciever beacuse she is too lazy to bring whatever she is fetching back!

This is our almost two year old baby, Cosette. We adopted her last summer, and she is the total best. She has a boyfriend dog who lives down the floor who she's never met face to face, but they "talk" through the door
