Pets? what do you have? names??/

We have 2 ferrets, both about 4 years old .. Pistachio and Soda. Pistachio is my avatar right now. Sometime I'll have to put Soda in so she doesn't get jealous, I guess.

Ooh, is he shaggy and scruffy looking too? I have a long-term plan to get a shaggy/scruffy black dog for the express purpose of naming him Snuffles. I just have to find the right breed.

We have 1 dog (Charlie, 9mo), 3 cats (Pixel, 12yr, Jack, 12yr and Gracie, 2yr), 3 cockatiels (Smokey, Alice, Harper), 2 parakeets (Cashew and Ray) and 1 goldfish (Pudge.)

It's a house-full.

We have an English setter, Duchess (7) and a German shorthair pointer, Summer (18 mos) and a beta fish. That beta fish has been around for 1-1/2 years and has gone through several name changes . . . Sponge Bob Square Pants, Nemo, Bubbles. . . not even sure what his current name is.

We have 2 bunnies- a Dutch bunny named Baxter and a Netherlands Dwarf named Blackjack. Unfortunately now that my daughter is crawling, their lives have probably been shortened. They love each other but she gets so excited that she bangs on their cage tops, which I'm sure they don't like. Oh, and my mom has 2 dogs, a beagle named Bailey and a pomeranian named Basil. So all our pets names begin with a B (though it wasn't planned at all). (She's also got 2 cats named Tiger and Jamie, but we won't count them!)

2 cats - one who looks like Simba (Catsrule's cat), I named him Asriel after the cat in the Smurf's, but started calling him Kitty when he was a baby (he will be 12 in March) so technically his name is Asriel but he only knows Kitty.

My other cat is a Maine Coone and his name is George and he is 15.

One dog: a Blue Heeler named Duke who has one blue eye and one that's half blue and half brown. Very interesting when he looks at you.

We really not sure when Duke's birthday is, so we've decided we're going to celebrate it on Christmas Eve.

Our Snuffles isn't shaggy, but there were no other black dogs at the shelter and DS had his heart set on a black dog named Snuffles.

Oh, and our Snuffles is a girl --don't tell Sirius Black!
