We are going to WDW in October this year for my DD's Sweet 16. She really wants to meet Peter Pan. Is there somewhere he is usually out for meet and greet? We will be doing a Halloween Party one night as well as a day in MK.
This is the Number 1 must do on her list! Thanks in advance.

Peter meets in Adventureland - specifically on the Veranda:

12:15 PM - 01:00 PM
03:40 PM - 04:10 PM
04:40 PM - 05:10 PM

We did a picture with Peter Pan and Wendy last February. They had a background map of Neverland, and it was set up near the entrance to the line for the Peter Pan ride, across from It's A Small World. That was before the new interactive line though, so it could've changed. I would bet though that it's going to stay somewhere around the ride. You can always check the app though, and it should tell you where characters are once you get there. Good luck!

We saw him and Wendy outside the Peter Pan ride in Fantasyland, right where PP described. Every time we went to meet them, the line kept closing because there were so many people. We were told to come back. After this happened twice we gave up.

My Peter Pan meet and greet was two years ago, and he was so funny. He kept moving around as he was talking to me. We'd be in the middle of a conversation, and then he would walk about 5 or 6 steps away, and then he'd tell me to come over to where he was. I met him on my birthday. Make sure she tells him it is her birthday. He gave me a great spiel about never growing up, and even wrote a note about it when I got his autograph.

we met him on Wednesday in Adventureland as a PP mentioned. It is the location that is just inside Adventureland on the right hand side (Ariel and Eric used to meet there) just before the Dole Whip place. He did have a good sized line - however it wasn't cut off until about 10 minutes after his meet/ greet started.

The location where he used to meet (sometimes with Wendy) over near the PP ride is now not used for meet / greets.

Best source of information IMO is Kenny the pirate's site - he keeps track of the characters - when they move etc.

We met him last year when he was over by the ride, though we have seen him in Adventureland too. He is VERY funny, loved my 14 year old's shirt that professed a love for iced coffee, and they had a fairly lengthy talk about how iced sweets go best with cake and what his favorite cake is (PANcake).

You might also consider doing the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Cruise -- Peter meets the boats at the end as a special surprise. We did this on our honeymoon and loved it! It's a lot of fun, and a fabulous view of Wishes (and the Water Pageant, if it's running that night.)

Follow up question... If I brought a small gift for my DD's Birthday present would I be able to have Peter Pan present it to her? Or are the Characters not allowed to do something like that?

They could do that. They've taken part in Baby Announcements and other milestones. You'll need to speak with the Attendant who is overseeing the meet and greet line.
