40 DAYS TO GO!!!

I've been in contact with DFTW...It looks like we will do dinner at Key West Ballroom and DP at Sago Cay (maybe) DH wants "OUR" photographer there to take pictures. (and yes he says it just that way "our photographer") So, we might be booking Misty for extra time. I owe that to all the girls that have put up their DP photos. DH knows that everything with me is a kodak moment-which he hates...but knows how important it is to me. He is also cool with not watching Wishes. I warned him we would have to spend more time with our photographer and less time watching to get the perfect pics he wants...He is ok with this

I guess that is all for now. I am off to work Life is good!

I can't stand the suspense...it's driving me nuts! We have about 30-ish days until we find out if we get our date. We added the Key West Ballroom and Sago Cay for our DP (super excited about that!) to our list of wants...now I just hope I get them

Still waiting on response cards...they have about 10 days to go there. I need to make my ressies so that I can give tour confirmation # to our planner.

I'm working on the next newsletter and package to go out...but not sure what to put into it...I got a great deal on Frommer Guides...$2.50 at Target! Not my favorite guide...but it's something...I have luggage tags...but I don't know if I'm going to use them or not for this...we will see. I'm thinking I might use them for favors...but I still really want to use mouse ears...*sigh* oh well...we will see...depends on budget I guess. They would double as place cards...

I need to figure out what we are going to do as far as a veil...The one that the bridal shop had me try on with the dress was outlined in swavoski crystals...it glittered right along with my dress...However, I also have my mom's veil and I want to take the rick rack off of that and add it to new tulle so that I would have that to wear as well...difficult decision...Any thoughts?

I'm going with my Cinderella bracelett -but not the coker-going with basic pearls and my tiara. Still waiting for my hair to grow out. *sigh* I know I know...I just have to wait...Don't they have like miracle grow for your hair? I could go with extensions but the money just doesn't seem worth it to just do it once...Thoughts?

Holy randomness...I guess this is what you get at 8AM on a Saturday morning!!!

Planning with DH has been fun lately. I definitely can not complain there. He has some thoughts and they have been good ones. Now, I just hope all our plans work out!

I'm like that with DF too at the moment, some days we're able to talk for ages about what we want, and get some really good plans hashed out.

have you put a pic of your mum's veil in your PJ? My mum's got a beautiful big long cathedral veil and every now and then the idea of it pops up in my head, but I think it's more of a money saving idea then anything else. I suppose it comes down to the one that works better for you.

It's all so hard isn't it!?! We're at that stage where we want to have everything booked, so all we have to worry about are the details, like flowers and table settings, instead we have to sit and twiddle our thumbs waiting to see if we at least get the date/time/location we want before we start looking at anything else!!

Bec...page 9 of my PJ...it shows the details, but does not have the actual veil itself...it's long, old and discolored...So, a little work and it should be good.

I know what you mean...waiting for date, time, etc is killing me...34 days to go for me! The waiting sucks...BIG TIME...

The latest, I told my mom I was picking a meal and she asked "well aren't you going to let people choose?" Um no. For budget sake and b/c I'm gonna be bridezilla about this...NO.. I'm not going to worry about people getting the wrong meal, worrying about response cards, and frankly-I don't care. All of Disney's food is fabulous-they don't like it tough. She didn't like that answer and dropped the conversation

I spoke iwth my WP who said I can customize my menu...Good. Glad to hear it. Not sure what I want-but DH loves Le Cellier and if that is an option I'm gonna do it!

We did the same thing...no response cards, no seating chart. We picked the food and I'm sure everyone will love it. We totally customized our menu. The salad we are serving is the same or very similar to the salad from 'Ohana. YUM!

Yeah the closest we're coming to letting people pick what they want to eat is talking to the people with allergies about what they can and cant have

Usually here there are two meals that are picked and they're alternated the whole way around the wedding, except the bridal party get to pick which of the two meals they want. Other then that it's completely up to us what everyone eats.

So, our travel plans are booked...much to my frustration...I go to book and my TA says "Your MIL and SIL want to pay for their own." WHAT! ...Didn't DH and I have this huge fight b/c MIL wanted us to pick up travel expenses...seriously...So, I linked all of the ressies together (we are going thru grand gatherings) So, we will all be together. (SIL and MIL requested that they be together-fine...but they won't have the opportunity to be too caddie...b/c my parents and DH & I will all be there too!!!

Now we just need to wait to see what airfare is going to be...

Its coming together. Even with all of the petty stuff.

31 days until confirmation...I can't wait! I just want everything a go...

So, I sit and wait.

That's so cool, I want to be able to book all our flights... So everyone needs to combine all their well wishes for super cheap flights to appear as soon as you're able to book for March next year...

Trips are booked-under the right names! We have a grand gatherings number. Not sure if I'm gonna use any of it but...heck...why not at least have the number if needed...
Katie gave me a great tip on a rolls royce...I need to do a little leg work there...That would just make everything PERFECT!

...So, I asked my WC if all of the locations that I wanted were available...the WP is...Key West Ballroom and Sago Cay are not. Silly conventions! Oh well. I was just looking to make FB minimums anyway-So, off to the drawing board. We will see what happens!

Any ideas for reception sites or small locations to watch fireworks???

I saw your post on the main board - bummer! I hope you work something out.

You can see the castle from the Whitehall Room, so you'd be able to see the fireworks from there too, but there's a monorail line in the way, and I think the fireworks might be a bit far away too

I like the sound of a grand 1 cruise though, that would be awesome!
