pet store?

For the person who asked if I put in a request to work there, the answer is no. I actually transferred down here in mid-July 2004, and the shop had just about opened when I did this. Back in June when I knew I was going to move (i transferred from a Disney Store in PA), I was told what merchandise locations needed people with my availablilty (Sat/Sun). Pooh Corner was one of the choices. Disney Tails is the other half of Pooh that was changed over last year. Mickey's Mart, which is located in the breezeway between PC/DT and Goofy's Candy Company, has now become a part of our store, in the fact that the managers of PC/DT also manage Mickey's Mart. So, I guess the answer is just pure luck that I got in there. Saturday is my last day, however, as I am moving over to Days of Christmas on Sunday. Since MM is now part of our 'shop," so to speak, I can't take the chance of being scheduled to work outdoors (I can't take the heat, it gives me migranes), I have switched shops. I will still visit my pals in Disney Tails/Pooh Corner - they are a great team and the shops are great too! I am glad so many of you are excited about Disney Tails!

Enjoy your trips! :earsboy:

to the corgi mom: you got a really cute corgi, of course our Moogle is really cute too. I just love how she sits up on her hind legs. Or stretches out with her little legs behind her. And don't worry about leaving them in the kennel, they'll be way to happy to see you than to hate you. They just hate you when you put them back in there. Although if you use a crate constantly, bring it along and put that in the kennel, it'll make them feel safer. I saw a little poodle hiding in it's carrier most the trip, except to see what all the commotion was about.

Doombuggy: Can you at least put down that you want to work at the shops at DTD?? The Christmas store sounds kind of fun too. Although World of Disney seems intimidating.

Doombuggy - so sorry your baby died.

Spicey has strange taste - he didn't like the fish or chicken flavors treats.

but does like real chicken and fish.

Pet Tales is one of my favorite places to shop at in WDW.

It is very nice.

we were looking at some of the beds in fur $50 and up.

but something are reasonable.

It is cost to the nothing over $10 store.

Spicey is 19 year old this last July. So the clock is turning.

Hi THanks- our baby lays down with both of her legs behind her too- must me a Corgi trait- thanks for the words of confindence about the kennel-

The shirts at Pet Tails were really cute and unique! WIth all of Disney's great marketing skills, it's teriffic that they are finally recognizing this void in their offerings. I've seen pet offerings in the Disney catalogue before, but a whole store of pet stuff at WDW is sure to be a great pull because people feel bad about leaving their pets behind when they travel, and because the role of pets has changed dramaticallly over the last ten years. Just look at the gizmos your local vet has access to nowadays, and what people are willing to pay to treat their pets.
