Is there a store for pet supplies (clothes, toys...) at WDW?

There is a pet section in the World of Disney store at the Market place and also in the Emporium in the MK.

The other parks probably have pet sections also.

There is even pet stuff in the store at AKL.

It is pretty much all the same, so if you find it one place, you will have seen it all.

There is a store in the Downtown Disney Marketplace that is just for pets. It's called Disney Tails, and like stinkerbelle said, it's next to Pooh Corner. We sell leashes, collars, t-shirts (for people and dogs), sweaters for dogs, toys, bowls, beds and treats, among other things. Contrary to what webray said, we have many things that the other places (such as WOD) DO NOT carry. The treats are exclusive to our shop. We are open Sunday - Thursday 9:30am to 11pm, Fri-Sat 9:30am to 11:30pm. On occasion we have had pet events, where you can bring your dog or cat in the shop, as long as it's in a carrier or on a leash. We had a week last December where you could have your pet's photo with Santa (located in front of WOD) as part of the pet event. I brought my kitty in to have her first (and unfortunately, last) photo with Santa, and to meet my fellow CMs at Disney Tails.

We pretty much cater to dogs and cats only at this time. We do carry small collars (for small dogs and cats) and our buyers are working on getting the larger ones for those really big dogs. Come on by and check us out!

You know the blue ones that says "Walt Disney World...Disneyland..." around them? BORING! heheheh...our dogger has been wearing hers for quite a while...ya need some new styles! She's not a "frou-frou" dog...or a "spiked collar" dog...heheh...you have some great stuff in there..but we're always looking for new collars!

I'm so happy to hear that there is a pet store now! When we were there 3 years ago we went everywhere to find dog treats to bring home to our furbaby. We even went to the kennel to see if they had any special mickey treats or anything like that. I'll definately be checking this out when we head back there.

We got some new collars in about 2-3 weeks ago. They are made by Fox & Hound, so they do not have Disney on them, but they are nice. I like the white one with the red hearts on it. I purchased the black Elvis collar whe had (It said "Love me tender" on it) in the hope that I would get another cat in the future. If I end up getting two new kitties, I think I will need to get taht collar with the hearts on it. We did get some black leather colars with spikes on it (yes, I am not kidding), so stinkerbelle, I guess you won't be getting that one!

We do sell the doggie treats in two sizes, small and large. They come in several flavors: honey, chicken, beef, snicker doodle, and bbq (I think). The cat treats have 3 flavors: tuna, chicken & salmon. We also have tins (one for dogs & one for cats), treat jars, dishes, place mats for the dishes/bowls, bandanas, tags (our tag machines are VERY popular), and plush (for both dogs and kids, pet themed).

i love working there, but it was a little difficult after Midora died. I love talking to people about pets and I will miss that when I transfer over to DDOC in a couple of weeks.

Thank you so very much for the "inside" information. I have 3 dogs & a cat, plus other friends pets to buy for. Between this store & the scrapbook store, I need to get a second job. LOL

I found that the pet sections varied from park to park, store to store. Didn't get to the store mentioned above.

I bought the little rubber tire in the shape of a Mickey head at the store in the Poly and my 60 lb dogs have played tug of war with it quite a bit. Good quality. It's a bit beaten up, but I was happy to see it didn't just shred quickly. Also got catnip toys for friends/family cats, but I haven't gotten a report back on them.

we bought our "pooh and friends" (blue one) at WDW a few years ago...but found the Mickey (red) one at Target for $8. hehehe

they've held up VERY well...except for Pooh fading a bit (his face is in water all day!)

yeah - I saw the spiked collars...heheh. I guess I missed the new ones, or they didn't thrill DH.

Thanks though! It IS a cute store! We don't have any kiddies yet, so dogger is our kid for now...and she knows it.

I LOVE the Pet Tails! Yes, there is random pet stuff at the other stores but not near the stuff at Pet Tails. Harley got a Happiest Celebration on Earth t-shirt in May, and we need to get Winston one when we go in a few weeks (he joined our family in July). It's finally getting cool enough for them to wear them! They also have mucho $$$ designer dog stuff, not necessarily Disney, but very very cute. And lots of great other things.

Both mine love the Mickey parts rubber chew toys, and they were very affordable. And pet tags, and bandanas, and hats...

I can't wait to stop in again in 13 days to check out what's new!

Again...I found these at Target one day and bought them for Jazzo (our Brittany Spaniel)

hehehe...in about 5 minute the Mickey Hand was giving me the finger...and ther was a hole in the Mickey Pants in the bumm area. heheheh

she's a chewer! (they are cute though...and I loved yelling "Jazzy - get your Mickey pants!" heheh)

I think they did -- also stich ears. Forget which store had them, though -- I only saw them once. The one inside the entrance to Magic Kingdom (in the firehouse) had little pink princess cones with tassels and ears, I think.

Yes, Mickey and Minnie, but they aren't "hats" like ones you would buy for yourself. They have a tie thing under the pet's chin (so to speak). We also have mickey ears with bunny ears (for easter), tigger ears with antlers (for Xmas), MM ears with Santa hat, maleficent, birthday cake, christmas tree, and 2 different princess cone hats (one pink & one blue). We also have bucket and baseball hats - the baseball hats that are twill have MM on them; we have hats for Yankees, Cubs, Red Sox and Cardnals for both girl & boy dogs (along with matching bandanas, t-shirts, collars & leashes); a pink bb hat for princesses and a purple bb hat w/tink. I think the bucket hat has Pooh on it (I haven't worked since last Sunday).

There is a lot of product.

I cannot wait to go on our January trip. We have in the last year gotten 2 very "frilly" shih tzu's. It will be great to bring home gifts to spoil them with.

Kiani became a Disney dog a couple trips back when we bought her the dog tag. I just can't wait till I can deck her out in mickey. Maybe when we move and we're working there.

Doombuggy: Did you have to put in a request to work there or did you just get lucky??
I'm thinking of working DTD because I don't want to know all the behind the scene stuff as a CM. It seems like it ruins the surprises of things. It's better finding it out when you shouldn't even know about it. The pet store sounds like a great place for me, I have a dog, cat, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish right now and a bird at one point.

OH man i am so glad this store opened up. I can't wait to get my furbaby lots and lots of stuff, i've been feeling a little sad that she'll be in a kennel while i'm on vacation... hopefully lots of treats and a new collar will make her forgive me

A testimony to how delicious the pets think the treats in the dog shaped tin are. All dogs that I've gotten them for, including my own, loved them. We now have two cocker spaniel pups and I have a long list of things to bring back for them. Hope there are new collars. We got red ones a couple of years ago, but when we were there in May they only had one I didn't care for and a pink one. Not for my boy's! A bed is also on the list!
