Sorry. My sarcastic response to OKWfan was so subtle, it went right over his head, and yours, too. :duck:
No need to shout. I'm not deaf!

All caps is shouting...bolding is just something I do to change things for myself cause I get bored with the regular font and it wasn't meant as a slam to you, it was to the poster of the original statement. Sorry I didn't word it clearly.

:flower3: :grouphug:
I would be interested to hear that poster's explanation of his/her bizarro statement.
It sure was a unique observation.

I can tell there are a lot of older people on this thread. These small things don't typically bother younger people. The older you get, the less tolerant people are of the slightest inconvenience.

LOL! If that makes you feel better, then go with it.

By the way....... just how old is old?

Stereotype much? Sorry, but it usually is the other way around. As we get older we tend to be way more patient of most things then younger people tend to be. We are not in as big a hurry and if we do get "short" it is only because we tire out quicker. Standing in line physically hurts worn joints and if we see something that adds to that time...we whine a little but not anymore than anyone else. We also tend to speak our minds more easily. In the words of Harry S Truman who at the time was referred to as "give um hell Harry". "I tell that truth and that just seems like hell to many." :)

I don't think so Tim!!!:sad2:

I'm afraid that you didn't learn anything other than to ignore the rantings of paranoid people. If anyone can tell me ONE, just one good reason why this would be beneficial to anyone, Guests, CM's or Disney then I will consider it possible. I doubt anyone will be able to convince me though!

You haven't waited in line for the TTA lately then my friend

I've read this happens at Space Mountain too.

I think TTA now that I think of it is so there isn't a jam on the speedramp. Understandable. The lady doing fp for EE on the other hand had no excuses. The line was halfway into the walking path. Let us in before they expire

2 - there is no such thing as "your row" - sorry, but it is first come, first serve. I dont think anybody should/would intentionally try to separate you from your kids, but seriously, come on.....

I have been to MK a few times and always thought every line have their own row in the tram :confused3

Wow! I never really thought that was a big deal. Both myself and my hubby call my two year old ”buddy”,but that doesn't mean we're going to take him out to the bar for a beer or anything. It's just a term of endearment for us,like ”sweetheart” or ”princess”.
Haven't read the whole thread yet but I finally had to chime in on this one.
It's not. ;) Some people just don't understand that others might use words they think of w/ one use for another such as those words as terms of endearment. It doesn't automatically mean that you think your children are your equal pals. People see the world as "they are" .

My pet peeve? People that bother themselves so much w/ what others are doing or wearing. As long as it's not encoraching on your space and/or rights or the rights of others, let them wear their matching shirts or call their kids baby. What does it matter to you (generic you)?? I'm more worried about the guy who sat on my husband's arm on the escalator down form the People Mover. :scared: No one was around, just is, and him. Um dude, back off! Or as a PP said, the people that jump in fornt of my stroller and stop so I have to stop on a dime or risk being "that person" that runs people over w/ strollers. Quit cutting people off and you'll never get run over again. I've never been run over in almost 10 trips over almost 20 years and I've actually only had one person walk into my stroller when they weren't looking where they were going and I was stationary. Not sayin' it doesn't happen, but I think some people make themselves targets.

I'm with you there. The older I get, the less I give a rip. :thumbsup2 THOUGH, it seems my non-children having friends do become more and more intolerant. Hmmm:scratchin

At the PARK yes, but in the parking lot it is every man for themselves.

Personally If I knew I was going to be boarding a tram, I would be be ready to board when it arrived, not fussing because others were ready to board and boarded while I unloaded my stroller.

my newest pet peeve -- people who post without reading the entire thread first.

Not everyone has so much "free time" to spend forever reading lengthy threads. :scratchin  I work 12+ hours a day 365.

If they're brought up with that attitude, I wish them luck getting jobs in the future! They'll soon learn they can't always get their way. And sadly, these kids are also the future doctors/nurses/lawyers/teachers.

:thumbsup2

Exactly. Sadly so many kids are brought up with this attitude. The thought nowadays is that kids are above adults and their needs come first and they are the most important things in the whole universe. Not a great attitude to send kids out into the world with.......the first time they face hardship and failure they will go crazy and be unable to handle it....

I forgot my biggest pet peeve: people who post on a thread about pet peeves complaining about people posting their pet peeves and taking other people's pet peeves personally......(it is MY pet peeve).

My DH loves to fart in line! He always does and then I get a whiff and I KNOW it's him. I give him the evil eye and he starts laughing hysterically. Crop dusting is his favorite thing to do in line.

Am I immature for laughing our loud at this? I've never heard the term "crop dusting" before lol. But it makes sense.

"Carpet bombing" is another term for this same bizarre habit. How do I know this? No real reason :rolleyes1

It was a joke, hun. But perhaps you knew that ;)
