Just wondering... what are the things that just drive you crazy?

The reason I am asking is because DS is watching TV and there is a cereal commercial on which depicts kids who should know better holding their spoons incorrectly. What's worse, there is a soup commercial with an ADULT doing the same thing.
I know that in the grand scheme of things that how you hold your spoon is low on the list of things that matter, but it just bugs me.
My DS is TWO and he knows how to hold a spoon.

So, what bugs you? (and please, try not to say anything like "people who complain about how others handle their utensils, I would really appreciate it :teeth:

People who leave up yard sale signs after the sale is over....try following a 2 week old (or older!) sign and ending up nowhere...

when people talk to me when I'm on the phone...I can do a lot of things, but having two conversations at once is not one of them...

I know this is weird but I absolutly hate when people where socks with sandals. It just grosses me out. It's a fashion faux pas.

When people use the word ain't. I know that it might as well be in the dictionary but I find it irritating. It is one word that my children will never be allowed to say in front of me.

Whistling! I don't know why, but having to listen to someone whistle makes me feel like I'm rubbing my nerves against a cheese grater!:headache:

People who beg and whine for a tag from the tag fairy! Thanks to them, she has flown the coop! LOL!

I hate to say it but

I HATE MISSPELLED WORDS!!

There I said it... :p

I also hate mispronounced words and the King's english destroyed coming out of a mouth.... ... drives me NUTS!

Worse yet, I have a son just like me!!! Now I see how I drove other people crazy!!

(How about) "I ain't got none."

My sister will say that every once in a while. DRIVES ME CRAZY!!!

TV shows or commercials with people eating and chewing loudly or talking with their mouths full. It's just gross.

People in theme parks who are walking along, then suddenly stop short to read a map or something....GRRRR....Then you cant get around them...

People who stand in queue lines, in a noisy queue, on a cell phone, yelling to the other person on the phone that they cant hear them because there is too much noise... Umm....OK

I agree with Dax about people suddenly stopping.

I also agree with BeachCutie about people wearing socks with sandals.

I also hate anything on a dinning room table when it is not in use.

:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

When kids say 'don't got' (some adults say it too!)

I don't got a pencil.
I don't got my agenda today.

The list goes on and on.

when my DH is too lazy to get up and refill his drink at supper
and just reaches over & drinks all of my drink
doesn't even ask just drinks
Can you tell this led to a fight at dinner time tonight
I just think this is inconsiderate

"How Come?"

I hate that phrase! Basically any lazy speech. What I hate the most is when I say "How Come?"!!!!! ::yes::

Actually, I'm just a cranky old bat and I have so many pet peeves.

Keep the Faith!

I'm with Robinrs on this one...spelling, grammar and pronunciation errors make me nuts. And no, I wasn't an English major...but it was my minor!

By the way, KingsFanInRI: hello, neighbor!

How'd you know I was an English major??? :p

I wanted to ADD:

People who end a word with "At"... "Where do you live at?"

People who pronounce "th" like "f", "I live in the souf, do you live in the norf?"

People who use "seen" instead of "saw": "I seen that show last night!"

People who start every remark with a "Why you"... "Why you do that?"

I could go on and on!!!

Oh, I forgot my DRIVING pet peeves:

People who do not use their signals

People who THINK they're going to pass and get in front of ME (NOT)

People who drive 10 miles below the speed limit obviously jabbering on a cell phone

People who change lanes without checking if they have enough ROOM in the first place AND move over to a lane moving JUST AS SLOW as the one they left.... Jerry Seinfeld does a whole routine on this...

Sorry, I am enjoying this toooo much!

OOOooo Robin, you're having way to much fun doing this::yes:: :p I agree with everything you said.

Robinrs, I hate when people say "I seen it" bugs the you know what out of me. A few more, people driving 30 in a 45 mph zone, kids not in a car seat, and pop-up ads.

My biggest pet peeve is when people use, "I" incorrectly. You wouldn't say,

"Give it to I"

so don't say,

"Give it to Sam and I."

I know so many people who do this who should know better (like teachers). I know my grammar is not perfect, but if you teach it, you should know how to use it.
