Basically, you need to let them know you're bringing a pet. 10 days before your trip, you'll need to visit a vet and get papers saying your pet is in good health.

At the resort, make sure your pet doesn't bark, because people in the rooms near you will complain. You can walk thru the hotel, to walk areas, and the staff and people will smile at you.

The kennel is in the parking garage, it's a long walk, but you can do it. You put your pet in there for the morning, then go back at lunch time to walk them. Then you come back in the afternoon and get them for the evening.

So they can stay with you in your room overnight? Also, I assume they can stay in your room if you are in it and must be in the kennel when you are not? Thanks!

We took our mini-pin this summer, and were allowed to leave her in the room all the time. The entire staff was great with her. We did our own housekeeping, so we wouldn't have to worry about being in the room at a certain time. Have a great trip!

when we stayed at the PBH this past summer, a dog staying at the hotel attacked a little boy (bit him on the face)...
it was kind of hard to miss as it seemed the entire orlando fire department and paramedics showed up (carrying all of their equipment !!....what a sight)...

the boy was taken by ambulance to the hospital....we saw him a few days later with his mouth and cheek sewn up and very swollen....he probably was permanently scarred from it, but at least he's alive to tell the tale.....

in any case, it got us thinking about the dog policy at the hotel....(and we're not dog haters by any means....we have a dog.....14 years old, blind and senile and we adore her)....
