well Spicey was a cat.

I use to take him and put him in the kennel at WDW - $6 day guest.

but the older he got - I just let him stay - when we returned he was still asleep in the same place - sometimes I wonder if he even moved while we were gone.

now Universal says that you need to take your pet - but they give you a pager that can reach into their parks just in case something goes wrong. (another words your pet is becoming a pest - barking) So they have a very mixed message.

when I stayed at hotels - then I would take him - or put the don't distrub on the door. I don't think he would have run away - but I didn't believe in taking chances. this was when we went to eat - not to the parks.

I could always tell when someone had come in that Spicey didn't know - he was not on the bed but under it.
