I'm glad Carsyn is ok, I could barely look at her pics from the hospital I'm very squeemish when it comes to blood!

As much as I love KFC, I really love Popeyes!!! Their spicy chicken is the best. Sadly there's not one very close to me, but I keep my eyes peeled for them on road trips.

I was a hockey player so I'm used to gruesome injuries, but I'll admit Carsyn's made me wince!

Sarah - The French Toast Recipe will be coming your way tomorrow - We have my niece Skyler and Dan will be making it and I have told him he needs exact measurements!!

And I know I need to get a new chapter out but a full size one may have to wait till tomorrow as Skyler informed me we will watch Toy Story and make popcorn and muffins (aka cupcakes) tonight.

Mini Update:

I do not want to go really out of order but to be able to share my life every day currently ...I need to say this. Nor really a spoiler...but since we are FF to Easter - sort of!

Courtney that Thursday night after the Silpada party, sent me a few pics of the puppy. Cute pics but hard to really get a good look at her.

Smaller than a coke bottle and a cuddler...but no real facial shot.

Friday night, when we were all together - she actually had the puppy overnight and sent me this:

Now I ask you...could you say no to that puppy?

Well neither could Carsyn or I and Dan...well he said, "I suppose we could swing through and look at her on the way back."

Which was the beginning of the end of our life without her in it and we have transformed into small and big dog lovers.

She was the topic of talk throughout the whole trip and she was the name game for quite some time.

Carsyn loved the name Koda and she liked Izzy. Treyner said why don't you combine the two and at the same time they said, "Kizzy."

So Kizzy became her name and despite Carsyn being Schizophrenic and trying out 20 other names even after we got her, including Skittles, which I thought was going to last and every Southern city and town known to man...Kizzy stuck after a few days of being home.

I am a Roots fan and the name Kizzy was the name given to Kunta Kinte's daughter so I adore it. She is officially listed as Kizzy Bean at the Vet as that is her full name at home.

The boys thought up a few names as well.

Treyner offered Snack Pack since he assumed Ace would eat her.

Baylor, when Carsyn thought she should have a Southern name, offered "Cracker" since she was white. (Please no yelling at me for the humor of a 14 year old.... no idea where he gets it...and besides, I thought it was funny! )

But Kizzy is in our life now and she does go just about everywhere. She has grown quite a bit since we got her but she is still tiny.

Anyway - She came to Easter and thus - the need to explain who she is before I get peppered with questions.

She and Ace are best friends. They play non stop and he is a gental giant with her. She thinks she runs the show and it is hours of entertainment watching those two.

She tries to steal his tennis ball, stuffed animal etc...and he just comes and takes it back and she will not let go.

So you have her...hanging off the animal, out of his mouth.

I will post some pics of them together as well.

It has been so hard to keep this secret ...and I got the chance to introduce her now that the option of her even appearing came with seeing Courtney that Thursday night which I hsve gotten to in the TR! (Can you tell I suffer from guilt?)!

I usually prefer larger dogs too, but Oh wow that little puppy is too cute!

The pic of the 2 of them sleeping is sweet! It doesn't surprise me that your bigger guy Ace is dealing with the new one so well, goldens are very adaptable and tolerant. My MIL has one and she lets my little nephews lay on her and play all around her.

I've been so busy this week that I've gotten behind on your TR and must catch up, but I just have to say that the picture of Kizzy and Ace sleeping is too adorable for words. If I could I would bring my dog (22 pound beagle/bassett hound mix) around for a play date!

Awww Kizzy is super cute! I have a chihuahua/pekingese mix too. He's 13 lbs and has more of the Pekingese look to him where Kizzy looks more like the Chihuahua. If she's anything like my Jasper she is super sweet and cuddly and pretty laid back most of the time. Here's pics of mine:
