"Personally, I think I would make a great stripper!" 8/10 The End

Vacations baby!!

Good idea! Can you make sure its someplace thats vacationable or at least close to vacationable then? Like within an hour of WDW or any ocean beach city... If its some back woods toothless place in Louisiana you moved to so you could win the Ms. Best Teeth City contest count us out!

I hear the dueling banjo song now, anybody else?? Ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding.... Is that what noise a banjo makes? I don't know how else to put the noise in words.

the Chandelier at the restaurant belongs at Trend-D! that was the first thing I thought of when I saw those pictures!

I LOVE Baylor's tee shirt. Made me giggle. :goodvibes

A shame about the french toast, I first had it when we were over 2 years ago and was hooked, I miss that more than anything I think, maybe even more than POTC... Maybe...

We are very deprived in the UK, we do not have french toast but we do have peanut butter although it's not that exciting, and we do have pancake mix and what ever else some one else said we didn't. Lol. :rotfl:

After inspecting your Graham Crackers crumbs used as a pie base I use digestive biscuits smooshed up to make a base for cheesecake (another Sarah classic):thumbsup2 and the two look similar.
Maybe that can be my subsitute??? :rolleyes1

Chapter Four: Grubby & Chubby - I was ready to eat!

Actually, I think we were dressed fine minus the birds nest in my hair and the peacock feathers in Carsyn's.

Again - visuals!!! :lmao:

http://www.lynnsparadisecafe.com/about_us.htm
This is the cafe website.

Wow - now that's an entrepreneur - she's into everything!

I think next time - we would order just the plain french toast. The extra calories with no flavor IMO are a waste. With syrup - even whip cream which would have a sweet kick - it would be much better.

I agree - sometimes more is just more.

I have an entire cupboard of spices and still want more. When I cook, I go by smell and close my eyes and just know what will taste good and what will not.

Not only should you have a restaurant, but do you think you can start a cooking class thread?

P1030810.jpg

That's how I end up in a lot of my photos!

I said, "Probably s**t a pink twinkie."

They were laughing so hard the camera guy was not able to control the shot and we had to do another take.

Your family should definitely have a show - it would be a hit!

i have nothing witty to say, HI!:)

:lmao:

Great update!!

I would totally come to your restaurant. Hummmm....where should you relocate down south.....it must be a lovely area....lots of southern charm....... *cough* Athens, Georgia *cough*.....still thinking....;)

I'm loving your trip report can't wait to here more. Can i have the potato salad recipe? Thank you

Jeez, I'm busy and can't DIS for two days and this thread goes CRAZY!

I didn't put in a guess for the movies and I think pretty much everything between 0 and 30 is taken. I'll try for 10.5 if half numbers are allowed please.

Dawn I think I'm going to have to spend more time on the skinny island thread with all this yummy food talk going on and recipes too!! Man oh man, my family would love love love nutteroos!!

gas station - strange, but true I guess. I swear some of these things can only happen to your family!!
Paradise restaurant - too bad that french toast dish wasn't all it looked like it should be. I would have loved it. What a cute place!

Now that I'm all caught up :faint:, you may proceed again. I'll have more time now this weekend, so feel free to tack on another 20 pages!!! Cripes.

Hmmmmm....someplace South that you can move.....perhaps a place that you love so much that you're willing to let your son's Jeep move in there and adopt new family member there?? :rotfl2: There are MANY houses for sale in my neighborhood, y'know..... AND we have Disney stores here; and high schools; and ....well, you get my drift! ;)

Edited to add: I sent your son a package today!

Me! That's who! So why dontcha come down here and let me wring your skinny little stitch head off! Ya saying I am weird or something?!:rotfl:

Oh no! My skinny little head would never win! My DBF is always saying how he could snap my arms with his bare hands......

But wow, I LOOVE Bacon and it's just weird how you came up with that. Did you just one day go, "Hm....I'm out of jam..but I have bacon!"?

Ya, that french toast looked REALLY good. I'm a big fan of custard puffs, so it's disappointing to hear the custard has no flavour. I hate it when you get food that LOOKS incredible, but just doesn't taste all that great. I'd rather it not look so good, and taste awesome.

Which of course.....is most of Chinese food....Looks like barf, but tastes like heaven :lovestruc

I'm kind of that kind of cook too. I love trying out new spices and putting new flavours together. I rarely go by recipes and just go by smell.

It's SOO SWEET what Baylor said. If you DO open a restaurant, then I'll have to make a trip to MN.

:rotfl2: I remember you saying on your other TR that you thought you were turning 40 this year but it is 39 :rotfl2:
Thanks for posting the recipes! :thumbsup2 I am going to try out your chicken salad recipe....I have issues with things like onions and "crunchy" stuff in my salads :sad2: I am intrigued by your swirly pasta ;) although I could do the grapes...and I have had walnuts too...see I told you I have issues...I guess just no celery. Or onions.
I don't remember that throwdown....I remember another one in TN with the biscuit lady at the Loveless Cafe.

Tracy

Ooh, we hit the Loveless Cafe too! It was a bit of a disappointment, but the sweet tea and preserves served with the biscuits were amazing! I did have to get myself a magnet for my fridge that said Praise the Lard and Pass the Biscuits!

Y did I have a dream last night that I had some of those peanutbutter cookies???:rotfl::confused3:rotfl:

Hi Dizneydawn!
I read your last trip report and really enjoyed it, so I decided to hop on board for this one!

Vacations baby!!

Good idea! Can you make sure its someplace thats vacationable or at least close to vacationable then? Like within an hour of WDW or any ocean beach city... It will be near an ocean. Knoxville would be the farthest we would consider from the ocean and or places in SC.If its some back woods toothless place in Louisiana you moved to so you could win the Ms. Best Teeth City contest count us out!

A real friend would support my dreams!

Say - ya know you are the hottest one in the bar when you tap your front teeth with your fingernails just to prove they are real!

the Chandelier at the restaurant belongs at Trend-D! that was the first thing I thought of when I saw those pictures!
I totally did too. Carsyn wants her bedroom to be shabby chic Paris and they would be perfect.

I LOVE Baylor's tee shirt. Made me giggle. :goodvibes
Wait till you see the others!
A shame about the french toast, I first had it when we were over 2 years ago and was hooked, I miss that more than anything I think, maybe even more than POTC... Maybe...

I think somebody earlier suggested you try that too - their MIL was from England!
Chapter Four:

http://www.lynnsparadisecafe.com/about_us.htm
This is the cafe website.

Wow - now that's an entrepreneur - she's into everything!
She also photographs - food in place of people in people settings - like on a couch or a french fry on a chair etc...all with mini furniture - so crazy!

Your family should definitely have a show - it would be a hit!

I' will let ya know when Oprah calls!
I would totally come to your restaurant. Hummmm....where should you relocate down south.....it must be a lovely area....lots of southern charm....... *cough* Athens, Georgia *cough*.....still thinking....;)
I will have to look up where Athens is...I have some scary Georgia tales - remind me to share them tom!
I'm loving your trip report can't wait to here more. Can i have the potato salad recipe? Thank you
Yup! I will print it out tom!

although I could do the grapes...and I have had walnuts too...see I told you I have issues...I guess just no celery. Or onions. I am not sure how walnuts would taste - they have more of an earthy taste than cashews.
I don't remember that throwdown....I remember another one in TN with the biscuit lady at the Loveless Cafe.
Was she outside like at a carnival or something?
Tracy
