Nope, I'm just smart! Actually, determined, and I figured out my "post but can't get back to where I want to so I closed then signed back in each time" thing so I rewarded myself with another glass of wine and the kids got another 1/2 hr on the WII so I can DIS!!!!

You know, I myself am not sure I even understand.

I do a lot of "drive-by" reading... I may be doing other things, but the computer is sitting there in the kitchen staring at me, so I sit down for a minute. I see an update has been posted, so I read it, but then I have to get up and finish what I was doing. Later on, when I sit down again, I find that 4 more pages have already been posted, and anything I might have said has already been said by someone else!

I will try to do better.

I also stink at keeping up to date with posts from my friends who do TR's. I promise though - I will always appreciate your input and thoughts - even if it is later in the game.

So finding this thread made my Easter. You need therapy!! Seriously, I've spent the last 2 days wondering "when is Dizneydawn going to post her TR?" And then I logged on today, and lo and behold! So I just thought I would let you know. And now I realize that it makes me seem slightly stalker-ish....but of course, this is the DIS!! We all stalk each other.

I'm always worried that I will say something silly and embarrass myself. All I do is embarrass myself! Hello! I showed a picture of my jumbo tron hind end with popcorn stuck to it!!But I will be much better and try to change my lurking ways! By the way...we just bought a new car, too. Umm...ours was new to us but not new. I do no think a salesperson would be ever willing to admit he sold us the bugger! And it had to be up for the Disney Drive. That was the one thing I told the salesman and then he pulled out his Disney pics and said he totally understood...his family goes yearly too! So I bought the car from him....I guess I'm a sucker.

Totally did and learned that us US residents think we are smart but the truth is no not a lot outside of our own border. I was asked who the Prime Minister of Canada was during one of my visits I went to school with my BF - I had no clue. Lived 8 hours from Canada and could not say it was Brian Mulrooney. (might have misspelled the name but I have it seared in my brain!)

Yup! The only Shakey's Pizza place I can find is just outside of Atlanta..next Road Trip need to stop there! They used to be up here in HS - now they are gone!!

This one was not started by my family...the original start to the story...was a complete stranger! But yes...they do. I have no control over Pluto being a Lap Dancing dog though...I just report the facts ma'am!

guys - I cannot promise I will get an update done.

Baylor's school was in lockdown today due to an 8th grader brandishing a gun at school and threatening to kill people. Literaly put a gun to peoples heads.

Baylor thank God was in phy ed - so outside during 4th hour - and was placed in lockdown in a nearby elementary school.

The boy was in Baylor's grade, played football with Baylor and I guess was teased a lot at his old school. At our school though Baylor said he was liked okay by girls and guys.

Anyway - I am going to be watching the news and talking with Baylor.

My kids have always been allowed to bring cell phones to school. Some people are against it but I swear to God that this was exactly the situtation I said to people why I want t hem to have them.

Bylor was in gym - so no phone - and a blessing after the fact is my phone was not on me - I have stupid yoga pants on and running doing laundry and Dan was on the home phone in a conference call - so I did not know of it till after the fact and I knew he was fine.

I think I would have had a stroke if I would have known what was going on and could not reach him.

But another reminder to always have my darn phone near me. Maybe I need a fannypack!

I think of Baylor's burn and if I would not have had that phone near me when he called, what would have happened because the boy whose home he was at, was saying not to call for help.

In fact - an odd twist - that same kid was one of the kids who had the gun held to his head today.

Just numbing to know it happened.

Every parent here - go over again an emergency procedure with your kids.

Including others outside of the parents who need to be located in an emergency.
