"Personally, I think I would make a great stripper!" 8/10 The End

Have you seen it before? Let me know how the bread turns out!

No!! I have no idea why not!?!? I own and have seen every Disney movie ever made (well, at least most of them ;) ) It's now definitely on the top of my list!

Baylor in his new "Hangover" movie t-shirt he found there!

Up next: Sunset Photos

I LOVE this shirt! Gotta shop around on ebay and see if I can find one for my brother! :)

I avoided Bolt because it came out in the middle of my anti-Miley stage. Now I'm thinking about just getting over it and renting it.

Is it sad that I have an entire Word document devoted to your recipes? I just keep copying and pasting them in, and one day I'll get around to actually making some. For now I'll let Gramma and Megan make the apple pies tomorrow, and I'll just help them "clean up."

Ooh could you PM the Nutter cookies to me? I've been trying to find it buried in this thread somewhere.

I have a bunch of them, but was there an apple pie recipe that I missed?? I have Peanut Dandies, NutterRoos, Chicken Salad 1 & 2 and now Key Lime Pie and Banana bread. Am I missing any others?

No, the apple pie is non-Dis related. That's just something they decided to do.

However, there was a Chicken Enchilada recipe somewhere. I remember that one because I love any form of Mexican food.

thanks for posting more recipes! and glad to find out I'm not the only one who hasn't seen Bolt (I'm now adding to my netflix list); I had to laugh at the contest winner's acceptance post - I do exactly the same thing, sit at my desk at work and sneak in disboard reading time between actual work:rotfl:

Dawn, the quote is NOT Dug from "Up". It's a Pixar movie, though. My kids started quoting it to me when they did something wrong, makes us all laugh.

I'll go get my ball!

This is another one my kids pull out just about every time we're trying to walk out the door. Rhino is awesome.

Is it sad that I have an entire Word document devoted to your recipes?

Me too!

:worship::worship: How did I miss this!?!? OMG! My husband LOVES popcorn and LOVES elephant ears. He would :yay: if I made this!

Not exactly the same - it contains jello and popcorn and melted marshmallows and butter - like a rice krispie bar with flavored popcorn instead...

Does anyone remember me posting the recipe?

I said I made it w/ strawberry jello and they tasted like those wafer cookies you can find in either chocolate, strawberry or vanilla.

My head is so stuffed right now I can't think straight.

If I did not post it, then I will have to remember what friggin cookbook/magazine I found it in and then, pray I wrote down my version.

There is only 2 bazillion around here to go through.

I seriously need to get my recipes down and filed when I create something and then get organized in keeping them online. :headache:

I know I should. The hard part is when you are throwing things together - to stop and write it down.

It would help if I just had a secretary I could yell to and give directions as I go as to what I am using. :lmao:

I understand completely about recipes - one of the best gifts I got from my mother (who is a great cook) was her recipes - she bought a pretty photo album with 4x6 clear plastic pockets, 2 to a page; and then wrote down all her favorite recipes on 4x6 index cards and put them in the pages for me - I loved it! My daughter saw this and decided to type up all the recipes from my mother, plus a lot of the recipes I use frequently that are scattered all over the place and made a 3 ring binder of recipes for me. From that she created a similar cookbook to the one my mother gave me for my sister and my new niece-in-law for Christmas gifts. I still love the one my mother wrote out for me because the recipes are in her handwriting. (sorry you're still stuffed up with gunk, nothing worse than spring colds and allergies)

Here is a Pixar quote quiz! It is way fun! Post how you did!

BTW - if you do not know an answer, you can skip to the next -I wasted 20 seconds till I figured it out! :rotfl2:

Yes Duchie - I was willing to cheat to try and get the answer and thus I found the quiz but not what I was looking for! I just keep using Dug's voice in my head and I am getting nowhere. :rotfl:

Love that! I have a boatload of my grandma's recipes that she hand wrote and cookbooks she got when first married.

One is a guide to all the things you must do for your husband and puts it into sections like:

Car drive and Picnic
Boss comes to dinner
Church lady reception....etc...

It is a riot! All about wearing an apron and having lipstick on when he gets home and how to make sure dinner is still warm if he is late and how to have things in the ice box encase important co-workers need to be entertained at last minute...

I should post some lines from it when I do my next TR.

My granmother was a balls to the wall gal and wrote her commentary in the side on what "Dick" the husband could do to his pot roast "Bettina" made if he didn't like it. She was awesome!

I am going to get some meds and go lie down.

The kids and Dan are fine - my nose is showing sure tale signs of a sinus infection. With just having a stupid kidney infection, I am sure my immune system was low and I just ended up with the worst part.

Ears plugged, nose either plugged or running non stop, throat red, smokers cough. Yuck. I rather get the flu than this because you know you will be better in 24 hours. This has been 3 days already and just ramping up.

sounds miserable - take some heavy duty meds and go lay down - and grab one of your dogs for company!

27/36 on the pixar quiz...i think thats pretty good we'll see, the timer was making me nervous!

Feel better Dawn
I remember you talking about that recipe but not sure you posted it. Love the old cookbook comments. You should do a blog with recipes or a cookbook! I'd buy it! How much would you pay me to help organize stuff and get yelled at by you? I'm better at organizing othr peoples stuff than my own!

Duchie-Is it Jacques from Finding Nemo? I'll admit, that answer does come from Google, but I remember the part in the movie.

I got a 33/36 on the quiz. I ran out of time for the last 3, but I also discovered if you leave one blank and then remember it later you can click on it and it let's you type an answer

I totally remember that now! Is it when he is caught cleaning the tank when he is not supposed to? As soon as you wrote that - I now hear his french accent instead of Dug's dog voice!

MNDIS - I will have to come up with a dollar figure! ;)

Here is a link to an underwater base jumping video.

UNREAL and I am claustrophobic so the whole time I was like Nemo's Daddy.

"Get back from the ledge!!" I was screaming at the monitor!!

Classic Sesame Street I have not thought about since I was probably 6 - who remembers this?

Then...Cookie Monster needs some Sexual Harassment Training from Corporate Compliance/Human Resources before he comes back to work! This is an actual video from a Sesame Street installment but nowadays - makes ya laugh!!

Oooh, Sporcle! I know this site too. I've done pretty much all their Disney ones. So much fun!

And wow, that base jumping video is a beautiful film! So well done!
