Just an update...I called on Monday evening & Dean sent me an email this morning!! (Even though I have some nice DISer friends who sent me the forms too!!--Thank you!!) So for those of you who left a voicemail, they DO listen to them for sure!!

After much thought of what to put on the brick, I faxed my form this morning! I'm sooooo excited! Hope the brick will be ready for us to visit in September!!

Do you have any idea of how long it takes to create and place the brick? My fiancee and I are going to be at Disney for our Wedding and Honeymoon from June 16-28. I would love to surprise her with it.

Congrats & have a great time! My brick is a surprise for DH as well! As far as when it will be placed...I think I read on this thread that those traveling later this summer were thinking it would be there...but there wasn't anything written in the agreement or anything.

I was told that the time frame would be 6-8 weeks before it gets into the ground.

Just sent a PM so I'll hopefully get the forms soon. I can't believe I'm about to spend $500 on a brick lol.. family will think I'm crazy! It'll be nice to be able to go back and visit it though.

For those who already have one.. do they give you some kind of guide to show you where to find the brick? That would be an awful big area to search!

I think she was simply mistaken. I just emailed her the app a few minutes ago, so she now knows that the bricks only cost $295.

I did read the whole thread.... I live in Canada and I was estimating
$295 + tax + conversion rate. I estimated way high considering from the form I don't think there's tax on these, but it'll still be more than $295 for me!

I faxed my app over this morning from work, so i will have to wait until i get home to see if anyone called me back to comfirm my order. I forgot to put on the app. that we will be there for fathers day weekend, but i doubt it will be set by then, maybe alittle pixie dust could help[ with placing the brick before fathers day.
Its a surprise for DH, he was at the MK when it first opened as a child and that is were he met Mickey Mouse out in front of MK for the first time.
that is where i met MM on my firt visit too. we made it a tradition for our 2DDs as well, there faces were priceless. come on pixie dust

I didn't get an actual "call back". However, it just so happened that Denise at WDW called me returning the message I had left on Disney's voice-mail system a few minutes after I had faxed the application that I received from Ratpack. I told her that a friend forwarded the app to me and I had just sent it. She walked over and picked it up off the fax while I was on the phone.

Oh, and for the record, I've sent approx. 40 brick application emails out already, and I'm sure I'm not the only DISer fielding the requests.

I did not get a confirmation call nor email, but did just check my cc & the $295 is already pending!! So that MUST mean that my brick was "approved"?! :0)

I guess so, mine's pending as well.
