Personalized bricks at Polynesian

Laugh O grams, I sent you a PM! Now trying to fit 5 names (one which is 12 letters long...) onto a brick will be quite the challenge! What icons can you pick from now?

Oh, and since we're all such Disney dorks, you'll appreciate that I won the last piece (the Poly resort) on Ebay to finish my son's monorail set. Now he has all the pieces for the MK part. Guess we can start collecting for the Epcot line now!

PM sent :thumbsup2

This is too cool. I think I am going to give it to DH for Father's Day. Something from the heart that will last forever or a really long time at that.

Just saw this thread and to say that I'm EXCITED is an understatement. I wanted to buy one in 1999, but DH said I was nuts back then. He now wants one more than me now. Can someone e-mail me or PM me the application? Thanks!

I just faxed my application! I can't wait to surprise my family in September. What a great present! Thank you so much to everyone for all the info!!!!!!!

To answer question, they used to have location at front entrance of MK that had maps to find your step. The number I needed was on the certificate of authenticity that was mailed to me. I just gave CM number and they directed me on how to find them. We got lucky with ours because I ordered them at different times, but they are just a few feet away from each other.

My charge is pending on my credit card! I know in the past that people received a sort of certificate with a picture or something when they got their brick... anyone know if that sort of thing will happen and when? Obviously they have to contact us at some point to let us know the location, right? Anyone that has ordered this time around, please keep us posted if you hear anything! :goodvibes

Yes, do keep us posted...I need to know what envelope I need to be on the lookout for so DH doesn't accidently ruin the surprise!! :rotfl:

OK, I finally have answered all PM's. For those that didn't include an email address reply with one and I will send the files over. All others should have an email with the files.

I just talked to Denise about an hour ago to give her a heads up I was faxing my application back and to ask her a quick ?? on it. I asked about a receipt of some kind and she said that we would get a picture of the brick when it was done and a description of where it was.:woohoo: She said it would be in the Magic Kingdom area but they could not guarantee anyone where they would go just that they are filling in empty bricks. She said it would take 2-3 months. Told her that was not a problem as we would not be down there until next May:sad1: I can't wait!!

Wouldn't it be funny it all the Dis'ers bricks ended up near each others? We would have to have a meet to take a picture! And yes, that would make me a big WDW geek!:thumbsup2

Hello! I saw a picture of a sidewalk with personalized bricks (octagon shaped) somewhere at the Polynesian resort, I think. I wanted to surprise my fiancee with one when we go on our honeymoon. Does anyone know how to go about having one made, or how much they cost?

TIA

Julie
I'm not sure if you are referring to the ones near the Wedding Pavilion that lead over to the Poly. That's where ours is because we were married at the WP and I think that's the only way you can get those ones.

I'm loving that they're going in front of the Magic Kingdom. :thumbsup2 That's where I was hoping they'd be. I did a google search for the Walk Around the World map as it exists today and couldn't find one. However, I did find a bunch of other Disney discussion boards where the exact same kind of pm/emailing of the brick applications that we're doing here is happening right now as we speak. Wonder how long before Disney runs out of spaces?

Well, here I am with a "me too" post.

Is anyone available to e-mail the form to "me too"? Let me know and I'll PM my e-mail address to you.

Now that I've got 2 kids and DVC, it's a much better time for me to look into this than back in the late 90's. Too bad the price is up so high, but that's supply and demand I guess.

Thanks so much. Very exciting news!

Could someone e-mail to me also? PM me and I will send you my e-mail address.
Thanks
Kerri
