If you look on page 3 and page 9 of this thread you can see some pictures of existing bricks....the top of the brick has the picture you choose on the application form, then your 3 lines of text, and then the bottom of the brick has the locator information for the brick itself (contains numbers, letters, and a picture)

I'm not sure. People have charges going through on their credit cards so I hope he's wrong. Otherwise everyone is getting scammed...

I was confident then as I am now that this is not a scam.

Can someone please email me the form to purchase a brick? I think to do it on this day, my Dad's birthday (he passed away a year and a half ago)...would be really special, as he was the one that took the whole family to WDW in 1997!

Did anyone tell you any details such as what they are made out of? Are they only targeting 2 locations for the new bricks?

I can't believe how excited I am. Only fellow DISers would understand. (Just like the lime green piece of luggage my DH gave me at Christmas with a DCL cruise inside. I got the biggest laugh out of the bag. Nobody else got it. )

Oh, I was never really concerned at the whole thing. Just mentioning to the other poster that it was true they were selling new bricks because people were getting charges put through on their cards. Also, yes, looks like alot of us will be getting bricks! Now we can have Dis meets by our bricks

I might try to call tonight and ask about the whole granite/vs stone thing. Back when they first sold the granite bricks they were I think $225, so the increase to $295 now sounds reasonable if they are in fact granite. Then we won't have to worry as much about the wear and tear.
