Does anyone know the policy at the water parks regarding bringing/using an outside floatation device? Specifically, can you bring and use a zip-up vest with foam pads all around? Last year we rented a life jacket at BB for my oldest son (age 5) and the next morning he woke up with a rash all over his back and chest where the vest had been in contact with his skin. We spent about 4 hours at the walk-in clinic that morning getting him diagnosed and getting a presription filled. It wasn't anything major, but I would prefer using our own vest to prevent it from happening again.

Thanks in advance.

When my DD was younger we used a Safe T. Seal at both water parks and on the slides. I'm not sure if the metal on the zipper would cause problems because they supposedly don't allow swimsuits with any exposed metal. So I know you can use your own, but you might call the park directly to see if the type you have is acceptable.
