DS(6) really wants to be Perry for Halloween. The only Perry costume I can find online is on eBay, and it's outrageously priced!

Does anyone know if they still have Phineas & Ferb stuff for sale in the parks? I think I remember seeing a hat in DCA at some point, but I wasn't paying attention because DS wasn't watching P&F back then. Any ideas?

I think I've seen a Perry hat for sale at the park - but I've never seen a Perry costume. The only other Perry things I've seen for sale are plush items - like a Perry pillow pet.
Hope you can find a Perry costume for your DS!

A few years ago - my son wanted to be Perry too (still his favorite character and he's 12). We couldn't find anything so I ended up making something. I bought a hooded sweatshirt and sweatpants. I couldn't find a teal color so I used green. I bought orange felt and sewed a quick beaver tail and attached it to the back of the hooded sweatshirt. He wore the hood and then topped it with a Fedora. It worked.

You know, I see people wearing the Perry fedora that they sold in the parks, but I can't recall seeing one for sale recently. I haven't been looking, so it may still be there.

Is there a Boy Scout badge he can earn in sewing? :)

Actually, felt is so easy to sew by hand, you really could do this together. Last year I ironed felt to a t-shirt using fuse able sheets from the craft store. You just need to use an old t-shirt or thin towel between the felt and iron. For a tail I'd probably fuse 2 pieces of felt together and then attach it. Or get real fancy and sew the pieces together and stuff them lightly. You could probably even attach it with safety pins.

This would be such an easy costume to make, with or without the Disney fedora (you can always get a cheap fedora at a thrift store or party store), I saw go for it. You have the time, if it turns out royally screwed up, you can order one online.

They sell a Perry hoodie with a detachable hat in a couple of the stores. We almost bought it last trip because my eldest really wanted the hat, but we ended up buying the hat they sell too (just his head/bill and the fedora).

There are a couple options but nothing full on costume.

June 2013 my son got a brown Perry fedora in the parks. We may have bought it in CA, if I am remembering correctly....

The last time we were in DL (May of this year) we didn't see much Phineas and Ferb or Perry the Platypus clothes or merchandise. They had definitely been supplanted by all the Frozen things. Disney World might still have some things, especially because at Epcot they are still doing the Agent P missions. You could call the Disney Parks mail order merchandising number to see what they have. The number is (877) 560-6477. Another option is to check at your local party supply stores because I've seen them starting to stock Halloween costumes.
