Perfectly Princess Tea Party

Has anyone done this and could give me a short review...mostly about whether it's worth the price?

On our next vaca my Mom thinks it would be fun to do the Perfectly Princess Tea Party with DD. Here's the thing, though...it's $225 for one adult and one kid, and then another $75 for the extra adult (so $300 total). For that you get tea, sandwiches, meet and greet with Princess Aurora, and a doll that I'm assuming is like the American Girl dolls but the Disney version.

I'm rather at the price, but Mom would be paying. I'm all for letting her do what she wants, but I'm just so stuck on that amount of $$.

We have done it. It's a first class event and nicely done. If you can afford it go and then just don't think about the price because it's not a lot of food. The Doll is sweet but can be bought in any gift store. It's the experience and we really enjoyed it.

Hi there! I haven't been yet but was wondering the same thing and asked similar questions a few weeks back. I'll look back and see if I can give you the link. After reading all the responses, I decided to do it for the experience. It seems like it's all about the girls and pampering them and making them feel special. There's song and dance, stories, and they get a few mementos. And FYI, I did end up booking and it has gone up to $250 plus tax (not including your extra adult). In the real world I would never pay this, but for a once in a lifetime trip, I say, what the heck, when will DD and I ever have the chance to have a real tea party together again when she's three years old! I'll post back in a few minutes with my link and another mother/daughter link that had a lot of pics and info on the BBB (her story really sold me)....

We brought our grandneice and she absolutely loved it, as did we.
All the little girls were dressed up, a few in Disney princess costumes and everyone else was wearing beautiful dresses, Mary jane shoes and ruffled socks. They looked absolutely beautiful.

We went last week it was loveley Rose petal very nice she put on a nice show the food was ok the cake yummy so pretty my daughter enjoyed it

It was well worth it! My daughter loved it!

Upon entering the Garden View Lounge Rose Petal (a magic rose who came to life) crowns each girl and they announce Princess so and so.

The girls are seated facing towards the entertainment. Each seat where the children will sit has a Disney Girl Princess Aurora doll waiting for her. The event begins food comes at you left and right and Rose Petal tells stories and sings songs all why Baron Branch plays the piano.

The food was finger sanwiches and cheeses for the adults.

The children received peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches shaped like swans, grapes and apple juice tea.

Towards the end Princess Aurora comes out and spends time with each girl taking pictures and autographs. Baron Branch and Rose petal also make the rounds.

It was magical and something we will never forget! We decided not to do it again this year and I made ADRs for Tea at the Garden View Lounge (same lounge as the PPTP) We will be attending again next year if DMIL comes on vacation with us!

IMHO it is a NOT-to-be-missed event for those of us with little princesses in our lives.

BTW many of the little girls dress up as their favorite princess....my DD on the other hand wanted to be her OWN princess.
I purchased this dress on clearence at a bridal boutique for a whopping $12.99!!!

It sure sounds like an amazing experience for your little princesses. Rather than take my girls to this, I let them experience another tea party at the GF...the Wonderland Tea Party with Alice and Mad Hatter. This is a child only event, so it wasn't something we could enjoy together and it isn't about princesses. But it is more reasonable in cost at $40 per child, and quite honestly, my girls LOVED LOVED LOVED it! They thought the Mad Hatter was just hilarious. It's an hour long.

And YES...I wish there was a princess tea party for adults too...You may be interested to know that the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will do a hair/nail/makeup- makeover for adults! I am so tempted because it would be fun and something cute to laugh about years later...but I am just not brave enough!

thanks Disney Angel, what beautiful pictures! I notice a lot of the girls really dressed up. I already bought my daughter the Ariel mermaid dress for the MNSSHP and BBB, and can't afford to buy another fancy dress. Do you think I could get away with the Ariel mermaid dress? Were there any little girls dressed in any simpler dresses? I have a cute sundress with Cinderella on it that I was going to put on her but now I'm wondering if she will be underdressed. Also, do all the mothers wear dresses too? Thanks for the info, your DD is absolutely beautiful!

You may be interested to know that the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will do a hair/nail/makeup- makeover for adults! I am so tempted because it would be fun and something cute to laugh about years later...but I am just not brave enough!

I know what you mean - thanks for the info on the adult BBB - I would really consider doing that just for fun in the future if my sister or BFF was with me! But not if it was just my DH because I'm sure he would moan and complain and be all put out if I made him wait on me there LOL

Just as an add on my daughter bought a Disney girl doll in the parks during the first week of our stay and proceeded to spend all of her money on the costumes available. She bought the dark haired doll not the blond but both were available in most park gift shops. HOWEVER, during our last week we were searching for two remaining outfits the aerial ballgown and Sleeping Beauty's dress. We were told in Tinkerbell's treasures that the pink sleeping beauty dress is only available at the tea party. Not sure if this is true.

The doll itself was $45 plus tax in November and the costumes $25 plus tax.

I feel a little guilty about taking the two older girls to the tea while leaving the baby with her father, but I'm afraid that if I wait until a future visit, when the baby is older, that my oldest will be too old. Any thoughts?

Most are between 3-6. There were a couple little one's with sisters. I was wondering if they paid full price since it is so exspensive. There were a couple older who just didn't seem into it as much. I think they liked it but didn't love it like the younger ones. It's a lot of money when you have 3 kids going. Rose Petal tells them the story of how she came to life and all about Aurora. She goes up to each girls at their seat as she is telling it so she keeps their attention. Your older two will love it for sure.
