Suggestions please:
How would you make the perfect park day ?
Facts-
Traveling with DD 8 and myself. We have been to WDW many times we are not new.
Staying at POP
Saturday park day. Only want to do Epcot and MK.
MK - EMH til 2 am.

We want to ride rides. dd favorite - soarin and test track. Mine- splash mountain and Btmrr
We have never road the mine train... Looking forward to that.

When and what should I fast pass and when should I hop ?
Any thoughts friends ?
We also will have spent 3 days in Disneyland one month prior to this trip.
This also will be the first time I am ever using FP+ . I was a pro at the old system.

Thanks friends !

When exactly are you going? A lot will depend on that in regards to wait times.

Yes, forgot that park - crowd level is a 6 . We are going the day before Mother's Day. May .
It's the last weekend before Star Wars weekend. So that's a plus.

As PP said, it depends a lot on the time of year. If you can go bell to bell, I might suggest doing the morning in EPCOT and Evening in MK and set up your Fast Passes for Splash, BTMR, and SDMT. If you rope drop EPCOT you could go to Soarin and, depending on crowds, maybe TT as well (would single rider line be an option?). Then you could check out the other things in Future World that interest you. Maybe pick a fun spot in World Showcase for lunch or maybe do a leisurely midday lunch break at one of the monorail hotels to recharge before heading into MK for the afternoon/evening?

I agree completely. Also, by doing MK later you'll get to see wishes in the evening which is my favorite! Have a blast

Wife is only letting us do one day pre-cruise.

I'm doing EPCOT in the morning at Rope Drop for Soarin and Test Track... Lightly touring until heading to MK before 3pm FOF parade.

Then I have FP+ that starts around 4 for SDMT, PP, and Space.

Thank you for the suggestions. I was thinking of doing Epcot first... Then FP after lunch at MK. Single rider isn't an option.
I am sad that I can't do rope drop at MK and then go to Epcot then return to MK. BUT starting in Epcot makes the most sense.

I do like the idea of stopping for lunch at one of the resorts on the monorail route....
