I was doing so well on my diet. Thanks Blue Bell!

This has been a very stressful month and still I stuck to my guns. Pumpkin Spice Lattes came back and I hang tough.

Blue Bell comes back with the Peppermint Bark ice cream and before I know it I eat half the container.

I need to go purchase some larger pants now, if you'll excuse me.

My family, too, bought the Blue Bell peppermint bark ice cream. Why does Blue Bell have to be so darn good? I can't be putting on holiday weight before the holidays even start.

I get the Edy's Peppermint Wonderland :worship:

When I see it in stores, I buy 3 cartons!

Not holiday specifically, but Baskin Robbins mint chocolate chip ice cream is my downfall. Which is a problem, since it's available all year round. I can go through as much as a container a week. So good.

Lucky for me it all tastes like toothpaste. Toothpaste flavored ice-cream.

That's what I was thinking. I would diet until Thanksgiving, eat whatever I want on that day and then diet again until Christmas Eve. ....and I cave a week and a half before Thanksgiving.

I love mint chocolate chip too, as ice cream goes. I'm not really a big ice cream eater, or sweets for that matter. With a few exceptions: every Christmas I pig out on the Ghiradelli peppermint bark candy, and when I saw the ice cream I just had to have it. I think it's way better than mint chocolate chip, it has the big chunks of the peppermint bark in it. My other downfall is pecan pie. I can eat a whole one. If they make that into ice cream I will need to replace my entire wardrobe with larger, stretchier items!

Not available in NJ. :confused3
But I do buy Edy's Peppermint when I find it.
I believe Wawa used to carry it as well, but they stopped making their own 1/2 gallon ice cream awhile ago.

Blue Bell is my kryptonite. Seriously, it was responsible for an approximate 5lb weight gain over the summer when I realized that Wal-Mart was carrying it here in the Mid-Atlantic area. Tried most of all the flavors, all by myself!!

Now why did you have to tell me about peppermint bark. The only thing that might save me is that I don't like mint in my ice cream. LOVE peppermint bark but maybe I just won't like it in my ice cream.:worried:

I WAS buying this and then I saw the Blue Bell Peppermint Bark. Not even a comparison. Luckily, (unluckily?) I am the only one in my family that will eat peppermint. It is probably my favorite flavor from Blue Bell.

I agree. Edy's just seem subpar after Blue Bell.

Whoa! As soon as I finish up the last TWO Edy's (probably by tomorrow night :rotfl: ), I'll have to check out the Blue Bell.

To be fair, I haven't liked Edy's ice cream in a long time. At some point, they got really fake tasting. If you like Edy's then you might not be as thrilled as I was with Blue Bell.

Baskin Robbins pralines and cream is now available at Jewel. My absolute favorite ice cream.:goodvibes

I bought some of this today in Target. (They didn't have the Slow Churned so I bought the full fat version!) I don't think they sell Blue Bell ice cream in my neck of the woods. I buy one carton of Peppermint ice cream and save it for Christmas. My deceased aunt used to have us over for lunch on Christmas Eve and serve it, so it has some nostalgic associations for me. Some years I have waited too long to look for it in stores, so I get it when I see it.
