We were there yesterday and saw that people were stuck on the Peoplemover for a long time. Does anyone know what happened, and if they needed to evacuate? Just strange since I haven't seen that happen with that ride before.

On a side note, we were constantly delayed on Splash Mtn last night (which drove some relatives nuts). But I think that was due to the storm

My son and I got stuck on the PeopleMover last year. It was fun!! Walking back along the track was ...cautiously fun!! But we got to go into some backstage stairwell and got Fps for our 'trouble'. I like unique experiences! No problem.

I've actually seen it stopped just about every time I've been. When I was there in March it got stuck about 20 min. before wishes. I thought, cool those people who are on that side (the side that is open toward the castle sort of ) were going to have a great seat for the FW. About 30 min. later they finally came and walked the people off.

Peoplemover had issues frequently in our last several visits. In December, it was particularly bad.

Remember, most downtimes are guest caused. With no ride restraints, the Peoplemover is notorious for guests jumping out of the ride vehicles. If that happens, the whole ride shuts down, then the Cast have to locate that guest, find him or her, escort him out of the ride where managers/security are waiting.

We got stuck on Peoplemover in 2014, thankfully for no more than maybe 6 minutes, but we were inside Space Mountain and it was very dark and not an entirely comfortable experience, though we still love the ride.

Could have been a few things, cars going too fast through the electric breaks causing a trip, a persons personal item (hat, glasses, camera, etc) tripping a sensor, or someone got out of their car.

We have been stopped in Peoplemover before but never for the length of time it seemed to be this time. It was just moving again as we were leaving Tomorrowland, which was after walking through the land and seeing Carousel of Progress and walking out of Tomorrowland

I think they are still working on getting Olaf to function properly. Until then, the PeopleMover is "frozen".

my husband and sons got stuck on Splash Mountain about 2 weeks ago. The ride stopped 4 times, because some teenagers in a couple boats ahead of them kept standing up multiple times. I was at the exit of the ride by photopass, and didn't see them walk through...I wonder what happened to them?

How were those teenagers standing up? The CMs must be failing miserably at the lap bar check.

I got stuck oh the Peoplemover in December. Last about 20 minutes with no evacuation. Lots of time spent listening to people scream on SM.

We got stuck there once. Dark, nothing to see, just listened to the screams from the riders. Also about 20 minutes then ride resumed.

I wonder if we were there at the same time. Longest 20 minutes ever.

It happens a lot.

The PeopleMover breaks down a lot, but luckily, most of the breakdowns are quickly resolved. That said, sometimes, they can be much harder to fix and require more time.

Probably so, they didn't check at all with our boat and just said to pull it down as we were leaving

They got thrown into the Laughin' Place?
