People who participated in the Disney Culinary Program

So I'm going to be a senior this year. When I'm done with HS, I will be going to the Culinary Institute of America. Now, with the CIA, you have the Freshmen year and the Sophomore year. In order to do the Culinary Program for Disney, you cannot take time off. Which I already know means you cannot not be going to Culinary school due to finances.

But the thing that confuses me, is do you pay as you go when it comes to Culinary school or do you start school when you want to? Like, how will I fit doing the DCP and then go to culinary school?
Erg, this is so hard for me to put into words.

Like, say I finish my Freshmen year of Culinary school, can I continue the Sophomore year of Culinary school whenever I want so I can partake in the DCP? Does culinary school go by seasons?

Ya know what, it might be easier if you tell me what the process was for you, like when you enrolled in culinary school and when you sent your request in for Disney and when you stopped culinary school and left for Disney?

I'm really just confused on how all this works. Do you pick when you start freshmen and sophomore year? Does each year and semester start/end every season?

Overall, I just wanna make sure I get a shot at the fall DCP.

The questions that you have in your post are best answered by your particular culinary school. Each school will have their own policies and practices. Te only thing Disney cares about is if you are currently enrolled in a culinary program and you can commit your undivided time to an internship
