We usually pack an extra pair of underwear in the camera case. I do laugh at the people who wear ponchos. Otherwise we do stay at a Resort hotel so we'll just take a bus back to the hotel and change. Mom does carry a back pack so we usually just bring underwear and socks.

Wait a second here, you carry extra underwear to a theme park, but laugh at me for wearing a poncho. :lmao: To each their own, I guess!

ROFL!! Yeah, I'd much rather wear a poncho than have to change my underwear at WDW! And I do wear a poncho on Kali (if I remembered to bring it; otherwise, I don't ride). I don't like walking around the rest of the day in wet underwear (it never dries at AK) and not everybody wants to walk around with soaking wet hair either, and I'm not about to pack my hair dryer and my hair iron along with an extra pair of dry underwear. Much easier just to bring a poncho :) :) :)

We always wear a poncho on Kali, but don't on Splash. I don't so much mind getting wet, but GF Nikkie does, mainly because she doesn't have "wash and wear" hair, and wet hair means several hours at the stylist to fix it. :lmao:

My suggestion is go on a really fast ride right after the water ride and you will dry quickly. For example we'll do Big Thunder Mountain right after Splash Mountain and we're dry in no time.

Okay, at least now I know why my seat on that ride was wet ... or at least I hope I do.

On all water rides, the whole fun of the ride is wondering if you will be the one to get soaked. And if you dont get wet, then you have fun laughing at the people who did. I guess it all depends on your opinion, but I personally would never get caught dead wearing a poncho on any ride at WDW.

Being Disney, there is alot more to the water rides than just getting wet. We didn't hit either of the water rides on our last trip - it was breezy and cool - but if we did ponchos would be out and so would flip-flops. Rockin' and rollin' on the rides and plunging down falls is lots of fun  , even if you don't get wet.
I am also a jeans girl, so I would wear a poncho or be very uncomfortable!
