When we were in DHS in April, my DNephew4 went up to one of the green toy story soldiers and said... "Hey, I got a whole bucket of you at home!!" Everyone around was just cracking up.

My youngest niece....she is a trip and cracks us all up!
Upon entering MK, I HAVE BEEN WAITING MY WHOLE LIFE FOR THIS! and she was 6 at the time......
I'm right there with you.
I really love the 30 minute to 2 hour relationship you make with people too.
This thread is too funny!
My three DS and I are fans of Test Track. Years ago, (probably our first time), after we experienced the breaking sequence, my oldest son quiped: "Geez, it's like being in the car with Nana."
To this day, I'm always reminded of that comment as we go through the brake test.
Is my family (well my wife, brother and I) the only ones who chant "we wants the red head!" along with the pirates while on the ride?
Hubby and I were riding ToT at DCA. There was the usual shrieking during the ride, but after the normal amount of screams died down, we still heard a high pitched noise continue.
As the lights come up and everyone stands to exit the ride, we realize the entire crowd is being held up because there is a little girl, about age 6 (the source of the high-pitched noise), blocking the exit row. She is upset (and furious) and shrieking/crying at the top of her lungs.
Her parents / family are asking her questions, pat her shoulder, trying to calm her down. Becuase she is blocking the entire group from exiting the ride, she also has a captive audience. She is facing the whole room, with her parents/family in front.
She says, "You...(sniff) ... You..." And then quietly, accusingly, she says"I was never laughing." And then, again louder to the sheepish parents: "I was NEVER laughing!"
Poor girl. I wonder what they told her about ToT to convince her to ride it?
We waited until we were off the ride and then were just rolling. That was our catch-phrase the entire rest of the trip.
It was obviously the first time she'd discovered adults don't always tell the truth and you could just see the feeling of betrayal on her face. (Wait until she finds out about Santa Clause!)
This wasn't in line or even at Disney, but along the line of above...My grandson, who was 5 at the time went with us to Myrtle Beach. We had rented a 7th floor condo on the ocean.
When we opened the door he ran in ahead of us took one look out the patio doors at the ocean and said..."this is the best day of my life". It was the cutest thing.
about 10 years ago we were in wdw with my sister and her 4 year old grandaughter, patience. we had connecting rooms and she was free to pop back and forth at will. one morning she popped in while dh and i were having a smoke. as we seldom smoked it was something she was not used to. i didn't think anything about it till we were in a long line at the mk and patience looked at her grandmother and loudly anounced that 'she saw uncle bob and auntie pokin in there room this morning'. yup, her four year old self couldn't say smoking so she said pokin....i pretended i didn't know her.
people were staring and i did have to explain to my sister so she wouldn't report us to children services....![]()
My own son 2yo inline for something:
"Mommy I want to go to bed and play with my big woody" of course he was talking about a toy woody, but there were of course quite a few giggles around us.
He also told people he has "the biggest woody"
Im glad we weren't staying at ASMovies, he would have talked about woody all week.
