People coming and going on ME

We have people coming and going and are changing reseorts 4 times over a two week period. Do I have to make a new reservation everytime soneone comes or goes?

We are not doing DDP (thought that DDE might be better with all of the changes).

What I want to know is if we will run into trouble with ME with people coming and going often. We willl have between 4-6 people every night with 5 different changes of people. We are in a studio, two resort tooms, two studios then in two resort rooms,
 
You don't use ME to go between resorts -- only from the airport to/from a resort. You can set it up to go *from* the airport to resort A and *to* the airport from resort B -- I think I talked with Member Services to do that, not the ME people directly. It can be done, but it's only to/from the airport.

If you're looking to go from one resort to another, you leave your luggage with Bell Services at resort A and take Disney transportation (with, probably, a stop at a park or something in between) to resort B. Sooner or later your luggage will show up at resort B.
 
I may be totally wrong, but I thought you could only use ME for the start of your stay and the end of your stay, not days in between.
 
Since you are changing resorts they are technically separate reservations so technically I guess you would have the number of occupancy for the rooms each way for each reservation within the days of the reservation. I would check with MS though.

I am not worried about going between resorts, I am worried about people who are coming and going from the airport. Three people are staying the whole time. One person leaves on day 4 and a different person comes on day five. Two more people come on day sx and stay til the end. Therefore, there are 5 different times when people come and go from the airport.

I guess that I have to worry about getting the right names on the resorts each night too. Fun fun fun
 
I had this same problem, my niece is leaving earlier then us. I called ME, they told me no problem doing this. As long as she is a registered guest.
 
When you call MS you give them each person's information as to which flight they are arriving and departing on and which resort they are going to and leaving from. I did this several times and it worked out quite well. I had it all written down before I called so I could give all the info for those traveling together at one time.
 
I have also read that with complicated scheduling, some DVC owners have sent in the ME information on line through DVCmember.com to make sure it worked out well. I tried this for our Jan trip, and did have to do some fine tuning one we arrived at AKV (one call to ME), but it worked out ok.

As long as each person is listed on the room reservation, they are entitled to ride the DME bus to and from the airport. Doesn't matter when they arrive or leave. If you arrive on Sunday, but have some family that arrives on Wednesday, as long as you have them listed on the room reservation, they can ride the bus. Just be sure to get everyone their travel vouchers, otherwise it will take a bit longer at the DME checkin counter upon arrival.
 
In October a group of us have a split stay in a 2BR - 10/29 thru 11/4 at BWV and 11/4 thru 11/11 at OKW. Due to a work issue, I fly in on 10/29 and fly out on 10/31 then fly back in on 11/4 and leave on 11/11.

Today I made ME reservations for two of us who are flying in on 10/29 and for myself on 10/31 since we are staying on my points at BWV. Starting 11/4we are using friends' points so she made ME reservations for me when I return on 11/4 and for when I fly home on 11/11. All done with no problems. There is one more couple that both my friend and I may have to make ME arrangements for but they don't know when they will be arriving and ususally the husband leaves after a few days and his wife returns with the rest of us (mainly because they have their own business and it's difficult for both of them to be gone).

As long as you can keep it straight, member services should have no problem.

Thanks everyone. I will call today. As far as I can tell, as long as we make sure that we have all of the names on the reservations for the days that the people are going to be there, we should be OK.
