People can be so rude!

I just read something that made me I won't elaborate and cause a debate but just remember.....

When you complain and jump on someone in the workforce about something, please find out that the person you are jumping on is the person at fault. Employees who work for companies have specific jobs from MANAGEMENT.....they follow directions from MANAGEMENT and they have no choice but to abide by what they are TOLD TO DO!!!!! In short don't kill the messenger.

I can tell you I would NEVER EVER work in the public, we can be so so rude and just outright mean. Next time you want to jump on someone stop and think if the person you are jumping on is really the person the problem is with.

UGGHHH!! I just hate to see friends hurt by ignorance!

Boy can I understand what you're saying! My DH works in Customer Service for Blue Cross....can you say abusive??? People are down right abusive towards him & he has nothing to do with the policy those people chose to pay for! Lucky for him, he's such an easy going person & always tries to see their view point but sometimes, enough is enough!

I use to work in Customer Service. I can't tell you how many times I have been chewed out because of company policy. Since we were a transfer agent, we were also required to follow SEC rules. This most definitely taught me to be extremely patient.

I worked as a leasing consultant for 3 years. One time, this resident called up cursing and screaming...so I hung up on him. He called back cursing and screaming again..so again I hung up. The third time he called he said, "You better not hang up on me while I am trying to talk to you.." I responded, "If you want to talk I am willing to listen..if you want to scream and curse and be abusive..I am going to hang up on you."

So he hung up..and I went and told the girls and the manager...when he called back..he was much nicer. I think people think they can just walk all over people until someone tells them they cant!
