people adding themselves to your MDX accounting?

My SIL will be in Orlando when we are and is joining us at the parks (last minute decision on her part). She was able to call CM and add herself to my MDX account. I find that slightly alarming that someone can add themselves to my account without my say. I can edit her fp. Is this normal that someone can add themselves to your account? I am assuming she can't edit anything but I don't have confidence in this at all! Anyone else experience this?

She should not have been able to add herself. It should have offered you the ability to confirm or deny the friendship. If you don't want her to have access to anything change the setting to view only and not to edit anything. You can also just remove her completely and be honest and say you would prefer your accounts not be linked.

I thought that was wrong of the CM to do. We do have the same last name and she knows my address, but still! How do I make it "view only" for her? I will delete her out of the account after this trip for sure!

Hm oddly enough I can't find the removale of editing. I am on mobile so not sure if it is a desktop only thing. If you go to my profile, family and friends, then click on the person you want. Click edit and then choose view only shared reservations that way she at least can't see anything she isn't connected to.

I was able to edit so that she can only view shared experiences. (Not sure what this means since I didn't share anything in the first place) I wish it was just "view only" not "add to plans" since I believe that this allows her to change fast passes and possibly ADRs. She is new to WDW and I am not sure she can appreciate hard to get fp and ADRs. Luckily she is family. I am still put off by the CM who added her in the first place!

Only the person who made the ADRs can change them regardless of the shared setting. Not sure about FPs though.
