Ok, as the "not your average photo" thread was being hijacked by photo's of plushies on vacation I decided to start a new thread. Post your pictures of plushies on (Disney) vacation ... or if you have something of that kind, I believe there's a tin of beans out there somewhere....

Here's a couple of JJPenguin to start off with

Vero Beach

I wasn't going to post any more photos of plushies (nice term) on holiday but this thread has convinced me that it is okay to come out into the open.

Iow, just when you think you're the craziest one around... ;)

Most of ours come from Green Gables, a B&B in Pacific Grove CA. They have a bear or bunny or whatever in every room, and encourage guests to adopt the critters and take them with you. We now have three, Ms. Bear, Ms. bunny, and Mr. Bear.

Ok, so we're not too creative with the naming thing... but when's the last time you saw a plushie posing at Tuolumne Meadows?
And you thought my signature was just kidding?

Not to get off topic already, but how was Vero Beach?

Vero was really relaxing, still very Disney. Great pool, turtles are amazing. We're definitely going back.

and to keep on topic..

thanks for starting the thread JJ! your penguin is terribly adorable.
i too have a plushie i bring on my WDW trips, a stuffed chicken, mr. vacuum (hey when you have no children and no steady BF, you have to have someone to take pictures of, right?)

Mr. V has been to WDW twice, and is coming with me on my 4th of july trip - we are leaving TODAY!
to get started here's my favorite, from the kodak lab at the end of the imagination ride at epcot:

I just remembered! That's my penguin "Minty" !!! I lost her during one of my travels !!! Glad someone have the same penguin, now I can 'live precariously' through her pictures. :)

In honor of this new thread and the great "plushie" pictures, my DW and I will be taking along with us tomorrow on a trip to the zoo, one of our many plush penguins. (We collect penguins and penguin related items, etc.) So tomorrow it is a 4 inch tall stuffed Rock Hopper penguin, appropriately named "Rocky". :smooth:

For our DW trip in December it will be a Ty penguin complete with santa hat. :thumbsup2

The May 27 Double Scoop Group aka "the Blabbermouths" adopted Bear's (of WDWLVR) friend Scoopie as our cruise mascot. In the year leading up to the cruise, he visited with many of the Double Scoop families in their homes or on vacations. By the start of the cruise, he was one traveled cone! And thanks to Hedgie's mom (ChipNDaleNFun) Scoopie has his own cruising clothes...A top hat for formal night, Mickey Mouse ears and a Pirate vest! He even had his own website "blogging" his journey!

Here's Scoopie (left) with his friend Hedgie (right) at the 2005 Food and Wine Festival.

And here is "Little Bit", complete with hat, (Hedgies cohort) attacking the ear of a unsuspecting young girl. :thumbsup2

Our son has had a "get well" Winnie the Pooh (was a Disney Gram) since he was 3 years old...he's 13 now. Pooh has gone on every vacation we've ever taken, whether it was Disney or not.

I have a picture, also from the May 27th "Twice The Magic" cruise:

Pooh and pals at Pirate Night:

I was there. I tend to be shy and stay in the cabin a lot but I had a special t-shirt for that cruise as well. My "mom" & "dad" Mary and Mark hosted the DIS meets for the cruise and made all the cool buttons.
