Just a couple of questions...

Have any of you guys ever had, or do currently have, a pen-pal (pen-friend)?
Where were they from? Your age? Older? Younger? Did you ever talk to them on the phone? In person? On AIM/MSN/etc? E-mail? What were they like? Are there any good pen-pal websites to go on to?

I'm looking for a new one. I'm losing friends (it's unfortunate, but it happens). I'd like some new ones, some people to just talk to...to get away from all the home/school drama. I used to have a pen-pal from England, but then...well, we kinda just broke off.

Yes, I have a pen pal that I met off of a Jodie Sweetin Forum a couple years ago.
We text a lot, send gifts on holidays, write to each other, and now we send each other shirts to wear.
She's older than me by a couple of monthes, I think.

I sort of have a pen pal...but we don't really write letters, we text and call each other and email.
we met off neopets.

(she's the girl that i met recently when she was in toronto)

we've been friends for about 5-6 years, so it was really cool to finally meet her. It wasn't even like that was our first time meeting, it was like we had been friends for ages and were just hanging out.

I used to have a pen pal from Russia when I was in lke grade 2, because we all had to have pen pals for a class project thingy.

Never an actual pen pal.
I've had friends from other countries (like Malaysia and Poland) that I met on an RPG forum, that I spoke to on MSN.
Who were basically my rock at one point.

Well I have to because of an club at school I'm in, we have to have a 2nd grade or 3rd grade pen pal from our town. We go to the school and help them with homework and play and such. But that's about it. I've never actually had a real penpal from another town.

In grade 7 I had one from like Tracadie-Sheila or somewhere. He didn't like me much.
In grade 8 I had one from a place like the one in grade 7.

Are there any good pen-pal websites to go on to? I just asked my mom to see if there were any adult DIS'ers who's daughters or sons wanted a penpal.

I'd love to have another penpal. I had another DIS'er who was my penpal but she stopped sending me letters.. I wouldn't mind if it was email..or letter..doesn't matter to me. I love getting letters. =D

I used to have one from the DIS.
We had a whole thread dedicated to matching up pen pals for each other.
It was kinda fun.
But she only ever sent me like two emails and I haven't really talked to her since.
If anyone wants to talk you can PM me for my email and maybe after we talk a bit on there we can send letters.
