Surprisingly, here you could find very authentic Peking duck. Though pricy at 72 whole, it is worthy. Our family has eaten Peking ducks in CT, Washington DC, New York, and Boston and certainly Beijing. Peking Duck in Moto is ranked top 3 in our view.

Also Morimoto "buri-bop" is very special with the servant frying the rice at your table. Fun and delicious. So two dishes in Morimoto deserts a trip.

We have been eating there since it opened. always good. When the steak used to be sliced strip I think it was one of the best on property. I gave my kids duck the other night to see if they liked it and they both do so I can finally get duck there. lol. My wife doesn't like it. My grandmother used to make me duck when I was a kid. I really love duck anyway it's made.

Off topic a bit, but wondering why this isn't called Beijing Duck.

The name "Peking" is older than the name "Beijing". It was first introduced to Europeans by French missionaries in the 17th century, and was the standard English spelling of the city's name until the 1980s.

Peking duck is said to have originated during the 13th century in Hangzhou, not far from Shanghai. When the Yongle Emperor moved his capital to Beijing in 1420, he brought the tradition of roast duck with him. Peking duck became a popular dish at the imperial court. By the 19th century, it had become one of the most famous and beloved dishes in China.

Today, Peking duck is enjoyed by people all over the world.
