PeepsII-The Hot, Sweaty Asian Strikes Back. Feb 2010. 12/2-Part 2 has begun.

I think Team Building exercises should be outlawed. The only reason they are team building is because EVERYONE hates them. :headache:

Not that I am disgruntled or anything. :rolleyes1

I think Backstage Magic sounds like so much fun. It's one of those thing that I want to do in the future. You should try again to book it.

:rotfl:

Your pictures are too funny.

Bummer about no BLT... I mean, bummer about not being able to stay in a BLT. I mean, oh...bummer about not staying in BAY LAKE TOWER!!!!

Also, bummer about no cage match.

I'd say go for the Backstage Magic Tour-and the massage. You only live once!

Once again, hoping you get some rest here soon. I can just imagine right now...:surfweb::surfweb::surfweb::eek:

Hey Jordan!!

I am keeping up with the updates, but with our big move(house selling/cleaning/weeding out at this point) and all I have not had much time to post, so here it is!

If I were you- do the backstage magic thing. You have been blessed enough to go to the parks often, so this will give you new perspective-JUST DO IT!

I cannot WAIT for Sept-free food and a suprise trip for the kids! It's gonna be hot, so we have 2 days for water parks, or 3 if we want!

I'll be reading about you SoCal friend!

Lori

haha great pics and plans jordan...i am throwing it out there now, since you are not going in june anymore next summer, i am going back in october of 2012, for 2 weeks, you dont have to stay the whole time, or you can, it is a great time of year to visit.

[I haven't had a massage at WDW since my masseuse decided that rubbing my behind was part of her routine.;)

I think I've mentioned a few times that I'm one of the directors for High School at our church camp. We had a Cabin Leader/Core Staff meeting at our church a few weeks ago. Here's me letting everyone know what I thought about the teambuilding exercise we just did:
summer2009036.jpg

I just had to clean apple juice off my screen after I read about your enthusiastic masseuse.:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:
It is Disney World , so maybe she was just living up to the "magic"?:rolleyes1

I get roped into doing those fun team building exercises with our youth every summer. We go to a camp that has ropes courses with all sorts of fun torture...I mean excercises.
Every year I say I"m not going to do it.
Every year one of the girls won't do it, so I volunteer to do it if they will.
Every year I hurt myself and cause hysterical laughter.

Do you ever take a "normal" picture?
I guess I should know the answer to that by now.

:sad1: However, I know Wendy will provide us with LOTS of photos of BLT! :thumbsup2 Just remember, Jordan, you get four wonderful days at BWV! :goodvibes

I can't wait to have those days at the Boardwalk...:cloud9:for sure

We love the dining plan for that very reason -- not having to figure out a food budget and having everything pre-paid. We haven't done the QS, but we do like having a sit-down meal every day.
I'm just wondering with 2 twentysomething guys..will they want a sit-down meal every day. Is that important to them? Oh, I guess I could ask them..:rolleyes1

You should've seen the expression on my face and what I was thinking. I was like.."Did she just do what I think she did?"

The little kid in the background looks a tad concerned that you might have just died or something! :lmao:

No cage match? Doh! All well, the ref called the fight. ;)

As you might remember we are doing the QSDP, which actually can quite easily work out to be a really good deal. I'll let you know how it goes. So far it sounds like it will work out really well-we also have a TiW card for our 2 sit downs.

Can't wait to hear how the QSDP goes for you. How does one get at TiW card? I've heard of them, but how do they work?

Great pictures, Jordan. I especially liked the brain leaking one.

My only piece of information is kind of spa related. If you're not interested in having your toes or fingernails painted (What? You never know.) you might want to check out the WL health club. I read in another TR how happy the woman was with her deep tissue massage there. I don't know if the prices are at all different from one of the spas, but it might be worth checking out.:thumbsup2

Have fun with your peeps while they're here.:)

No manicure or pedicure for me. I have done a facial though...I fell asleep while she was massaging my scalp.

I'll have to look into it. I know each deluxe resort that has a fitness club also has massages available.

I'm not a huge fan of teambuilding exercises either. However, I did work in Training/Devt so..I've been known to throw a few out there from time to time.

I am thinking that the Backstage Magic Tour is going to happen....:thumbsup2

I'm bummed about the cage match myself, but I'm sure Allan is breathing easier now.

Since WDW no longer does length of stay passes, I'm stuck with 3 days that I won't be able to go into a park. So the massage and the Tour are starting to seem like they're going to happen.

I'm stuck at church today with contractors doing bids for our upcoming construction. Technically, it's my day off, but someone needs to be here. So, I'm not really doing any other work other than hanging out until they're done.

Even if you don't do an official TR, you can always do an unofficial one here on my PTR if you'd like.

Are you moving to TX?

Oh and are you staying at Pop...:rolleyes1;)

Morning Peeps !!

Morning! Afternoon to you now.

I will be celebrating my 50th birthday with a 2 week blowout WDW/DCL birthday bash with family and friends in June 2012....October sounds tempting for a short solo trip....

It would not have been bad if she was younger, but she was much older.

My take on them as well. If they REALLY want to get me excited about teambuilding, then we need to do THIS. Otherwise, count me out.

This past week I worked over 70 hours. Here I am at the end of the week:
summer2009039.jpg
Nice Blackberry! I don't know how I survived before I got my Curve. I feel your pain. I look like that after the Easter play every year. Between the set, the lighting, and all the other technical stuff we have to get done, I pretty well crash for a day or two once it's all done.

As to dining, I'd say, start with a very basic touring plan of which parks on which days, figure out what places you want to eat, decide if it's worth the extra time it takes to do table service, and confer with your traveling companions as to their preferences. If you like the idea of pre-paying, but don’t have enough table service destinations to warrant a full dining plan, you could always get one of those pre-paid visa cards and just pay into it a little each month before your trip, then use that exclusively for table service dining.

Can't wait to see how it all comes together! Don't work too hard! I remember the last time I was a counselor at Senior High camp. Who knew Maple syrup and corn oil was so hard to wash out?

hmmmmmmm......you mean bum massages aren't a normal part of it? Allways thought they were :rolleyes1

It wouldn't have been bad if I knew it was part of the deal. It was just so unexpected....I was so relaxed.....she must've felt my cheeks tighten up...:rolleyes1

I'll buy the nachos.....

I'd love to go to a Disney Seminar, although many, many years ago, I did go through the Disney Intern Program....

I'm here sitting at church pretty much vegging out because I'm so tired. I'm doing some work, but today's supposed to be my day off, so I'm working a little bit....

Finally, a guy to talk about electronics!!!!! I really use my Curve for internet access, getting and writing emails...it's good and bad. You can't really leave work...

I like your ideas! I'm already working on my itinerary and have a very basic idea of where I want to eat. So that'll probably help with the decision of whether to DDP or not. I think at the very least we might do the Quick Service Plan...I'm waiting for a few people here on the DIS to give their reviews on the QSDP before moving forward.

Flour and water seem to be used alot at our camp. last year someone used sand....

Now it's between doing the Quick Service Plan or the regular DDP...any thoughts?

i would go with the regular DDP for $40/day. it seems like a good deal to me. a co-worker of mine leaves next week and she's doing the QS plan. i will share her thoughts with you if she says anything about it. but she has kids so that may be why she went with the QS plan....i'm sure those extra plans add up.

I haven't had a massage at WDW since my masseuse decided that rubbing my behind was part of her routine.;)

you mean that's not part of a usual massage??? :lmao:

you set such a good example, jordan! :thumbsup2

My brain was leaking it's contents:
summer2009041.jpg

is your brain made of orange juice?

On Sunday, we had our church picnic. I was in charge of the program portion. Here's what one lady thought of the program:
summer2009052.jpg

for some reason the look on your face is cracking me up! :rotfl:

It wouldn't have been bad if I knew it was part of the deal. It was just so unexpected....I was so relaxed.....she must've felt my cheeks tighten up...:rolleyes1

She was probably loving those bun of steel... :lmao:

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: Rock hard baby, rock hard....:rolleyes1

:lmao::rotfl2:

I guess all those buns of steel videos from the 90's paid off.

I've had a massage twice and I just can't relax enough to enjoy some strange person touching me.:scared:
