Well as Jordan mentioned Feb 5 - 14th is the Cheerleaders THINGIE!!andthat's wat I may b there for!I wont know till early December !! When is Presidents weekend in 2010 !???I really don't wantto just go for the Cheerleading thingie but financially I am the most logical choice to go !! Only time will tell !!

(It's ok, I'm gonna go to SoCal in a month and I have absolutely no idea where I'll be on what day and how.)

I bet you breathed a big sigh of relief when you heard there wouldn't be 7(!!!!!) kids coming in Feb.

My highest hopes for encountering as few cheerleaders as possible at DHS (I go to school with them--there's no getting rid of 'em unless they go to WDW).

Wish I could be say I'll be in WDW that time next year (or at all...) but unforutmately no.

I'm feeling a bit better about not having 7 kids to contend with, especially babysitting. They aren't definitely out yet, but it sounds like 2012 is going to be the year that they go...

I've gone 5x in Jan/Feb and have seen the rah-rahs 4 out of 5 times, but now I know the way their events work and generally where they will be so I do a pretty good job of avoiding them. Believe it or not, they are pretty well behaved...DHS is always the busiest with the Cheerleaders.

I think having solo time is a good idea! Hopefully you can make it work.

I spent 2-3 days on my own each of the last 2 trips to WDW and it was really nice to be able to relax and go at my own pace. I am definitely gonna try and swing it this year.

Are you telling me this PTR isn't going to have any pictures or discussion about park bags?? Well then - I'm outta here!

hopefully you can get a few days alone! I'm trying to do the same actually for my week down there for marathon weekend. Heading down Thurs.. everyone else coming Friday... and they're all leaving hopefully mon/tues and I'll be there until Wednesday (hopefully!)

it'll be my first solo disney adventure! I can't wait! I've already picked out all of the places I want to eat at by myself. Jiko, Sanaa...the list is endless!

The 2012 trip sounds awsome! I don't know about June though. I was just there on the 15th and 16th and it was HOT! At DHS I saw children begging their parents to take them home! I don't care how hot it is, I would never willingly leave WDW because of it!

We were there the 13th-17th and you're right, it was HOT,HOT,HOT (and not in a fun way like in the song). We spent a lot of time in the pool. We've been in early June before and I don't recall it being so miserably hot. Still, we were in Disney so all was good!

Really, the plans look good! It's nice to have things a bit more simplified when it comes to the whole watching the kids thing. Some solo trip/extra days always sound good to me - someday I'll get a solo trip!!

If you can swing some time alone/solo at WDW, do it. It really is a different vibe being there on your own.

I went in June 07 and it was pretty hot, but not hot like it sounds like it was this past year....

The pool is definitely your friend during the heat and humidity.

i think thats when we will be there too Feb 6-13th...so you can keep your mojo and have good weather again! At least it will be warmer than at home since it will probably be in the 10's or 20's or 30's!!

I have been on the Disboards for a few years now and I am a bit of a lurker. I am just now getting brave enough to post more often. I have read all of your trip reports and have even got my husband (another Disney nut) hooked on your trip reports. We sometimes read them together after the kiddos go to bed and we just laugh and laugh. We are really enjoying your new PTR to! Sounds like your 2012 trip will be so much fun. We go to Disney every year and are usually there in June or July. Maybe we will run into you! Anyway just wanted to let you know how much we enjoy your trip reports.
