Easter is almost here and its time to honor those Little Peeps that give so much to science and the Easter basket. This is one of my favorite seasonal sites. http://www.peepresearch.org/

I love that site..cracks me up.

Personally, I love the bunnies the best. I like to eat their ears off before sucking the sugar off the rest of them. Then I let the bodies slowly melt in my mouth.

I like to grow them in the microwave. Purple looks really good as it puffs up.

this is always the time of year for Peeps s'mores!

It was a tradition I started at my old work...I did it every easter! I went to my friend's bridal shower last weekend (she's an old coworker) and took her and her sister a "peeps s'mores kit" for old times sake. They have to be pink birdie peeps, of course.

recipe:

graham crackers
peeps (pink birdies are the best)
hershey bars (we like special dark )

Place 1/2 graham cracker on a microwave-safe plate. Put a few pieces of hershey bar on top, and then place 1 peep. Nuke for 10-20 sec. or until the peep puffs up nicely (but still fits on that graham cracker). Take out of micro and put other 1/2 of the graham cracker on top. voila! Peeps s'mores! makes your mouth pink! LOL

One of my future DIL's has never seen this!! (she must have led a sheltered life!) We're looking forward to showing her on Sunday!

As you can see by my siggie I choose to honor the mighty Peep by writing words of Haiku (that was not a sneeze!).
I usually try to change my poem several times throughout the Easter season.


I'm such a little minx......I actually pick and choose WHEN to use my signature contrary to the rumors you might have heard that were saying I'd lost it!
The only thing I've lost lately is my mind.

I used to have a roommate who loved stale peeps! He would buy a package, open them up & let them sit for about a week, then eat 'em.

This is my mom! She loves them after their stale!

I love the peeps in the library and in the microwave, sounds like fun Easter activities to me!!
